Newsmail is an add-on to extract postings from a UseNet newsgroup and supply them as either a Pegasus Mail digest or separate Pegasus Mail messages. Sample.ini is almost ready to provide Pegasus Mail newsgroups, just needs to have MYSELF= updated, and then file to be saved as NewsMail.ini See Newsmail.txt for details.

Version 3.5 corrects processing of rejected articles and logs more error conditions in Newsmail.log.

NOTSPLIT: Splits a folder back into messages

Extracts messages from folders and places them in your Temp directory (c:\Temp or your Local Settings Temp directory). Instructions for use on the screen display. All messages get extracted, the folder remains unchanged.

RSSMail, converts RSS feeds into Pegasus Mail messages

RSSMAIL provides RSS News data via an email message generated into the user
Pegasus Mail newmail directory. The RSS feed XML stream is converted into an email
message that can be input to Pegasus Mail. Support for RSS V2 Enclosures allows blogs with audio
and/or video to be downloaded separately.
A user can then select an item of interest and click on the title to launch
a browser to view the whole article.
