Pegasus Mail & Mercury

Past several days this site has been returning a "not found" message indicating either the server has been intermittently off-line or a DNS resolution problem?

Haven't had any problems to access the site from here (from comparatively close distance). So I would guess it's an issue with DNS or routing.

whenever you experience something like this you may try the alternate address: http://pmail.praktit.se - if the site responds something in resolving pmail.com is the origin of troubles.

Access is still problematic from my part of the world, returning Firefox can't find the server at community.pmail.com. Whereas pmail.praktit.se resolves OK.

Obviously a routing/DNS problem somewhere.

pmail.com uses stealth SOA and under normal circumstances looks like this:

pmail.com
        primary name server = parnassus.pmail.gen.nz
        responsible mail addr = postmaster.pmail.com
        serial  = 2008042000
        refresh = 3600 (1 hour)
        retry   = 1800 (30 mins)
        expire  = 604800 (7 days)
        default TTL = 600 (10 mins)

pmail.com       nameserver = ns1.hdl.com
pmail.com       nameserver = ns2.hdl.com

You should try in the following order: ns1.hdl.com (67.99.228.250), then ns2.hdl.com (67.99.228.249), then lastly parnassus.pmail.gen.nz (192.156.225.2)(
