    Pegasus IMAP problems post hibernate

I like to keep Pegasus running on my home PC (it takes a few minutes to start up because of the number of saved messages I have). Owing to recent electricity price hikes I have taken to hibernating my PC. When I power it up again Pmail has lost the IMAP connection; and when I reconnect, any messages that had been previously filtered/moved from the inbox to another folder reappear in the inbox. This means they are filtered agin to produce duplicates in folders. I have taken to exiting pegasus before hibernating, but it's a bit of a pain.

Major problems with hibernate and IMAP4.  An expunge command only happens on closing and the connection goes away when hibernating.  You really need to at least close the IMAP4 connection before hibernating.  Personally I'd completely close Pegasus Mail if i were to be gone for awhile.

FWIW, how long does it take to open WinPMail?  Opening a IMAP4 connection when you are getting status for all the subscribed folders rather than just the new mail folder on connection can take a long time.

It takes 85 seconds to establish the IMAP connection and get the status of my folder, and another 10 seconds to apply mail filters.

Seems like a very long time.  I've got an account with 250 folders and it does not take all that long.  I've no filters running but opening takes less than ten seconds I am only getting status on the new mail folder though.  I've got folders with over 15K messages that I really do not want to be checked every time I connect.

FWIW, slow opening and closing of WinPMail can be caused by a  bad hierarch.pm file.
