New User- couple of basic questions

Hi everybody, I have been using Eudora for a few years and just changing to Pegasus last week. There are a couple of things I can't find the answers to, probably because I don't know the terms to search for.

    1) Can I collect Pop mail from both my own 'domain.com' and from other accounts such as 'Gmail.com' as I could in Eudora if so how do I set it up?

    2) In Eudora I used their 'Stationary' facility for a number of Stock Letters, can I do this or similar in Pegasus?

I'm not a techi so please make it simple like me!

    regards Paul

Re: New User- couple of basic questions

    Hi Paul,

1.) You can createmultiple identities for your different accounts. To do this select "Extras->Identities" and create a new one, then click on "Extras->Internet Settings" and set the POP3 and or SMTP servers.

Repeate this for all your identities (accounts).

         Alternative: Use the Multi-Pop function.

2.) Is 'Stationary' the same as a Template ? If so, press Shift+F7 in Pegasus Main Window and create a new template.

    Hope this'll help you.

    kind regards

Thanks for the info, I have managed to get the other accounts up and running although not had any sucess with GMAIL I'm afraid.

The Eudora sationary facility does not appear to be the same as Pegasus Templates, I'm still working on that.

I do appreciate this help, Thanks

    Regards Paul

I don't know how to put clickable links into a message, they just appear as ordinary text.

You can select the whole url, rightclick on it and select 'Open selection as hyperlink...'
