Just to let you all know, we experience since a good week now some intermittent connectivity problems.
Have ordered another connection (fibre plus IPv6) to our server farms for better redundancy. Until this other connection is in place, we expect the problems to continue for a few weeks.
What is happening on the technical level, is that we have dual lines, and one of these is sometimes garbling the signal. Thus creating signal loss, and sometimes packet corruption - which makes the phone-station end of things to go up and down in connectivity.
We do have another site, to which we have relocated more mission critical systems, mostly terminal servers and DBS's - on that site however the power supply is not optimal yet.
Full redundancy is a hard thing to achieve, and very costly... - so please bear with us until the next connection line is up.
Watch this space for further notices.
Kind regards / Peter
