I cannot see the images you provided, where are the links?

 EXCUSE ME, please?  I found what you were referencing, before my posts.  Yes I agree with you that is what they should look like, but; mine has that border on the right side that is not extended to the edge of Pegasus.  PLUS, when hovering my mouse of the edge that is on the Multi-Panel for viewing messages it turns into a double headed arrow.

Just made an adjustment to my sig to reflect my O/S and CPU desktop.  Neglected to include my O/S is 32bit on a 64bit Dual Core Processor by Dell.

This ERROR in my informing you of what I am using may have something to do with my difficulties.  I have run into some problems with Microsoft's software they provide that will not run on my system.

What happens when you use Window | Tile?  It should show the "X" and the other stuff in the top right cornet and fill the WinPMail window area.  When you hit the maximize on this screen it should then make the "X" go away can completely fill the area as well.

I have set mine to 1280x1024, the same as yours, and do not have the Multi-Panel NOT filling my screen.  I will just use this instead of the one I prefer.  I may become accustomed to this and will stay here.  Yet the other problem still is there at the lower resolutions.  Most noticeable at 1152x864 on my 19" LCD display.

At that lower resolution when using the Window | Tile makes NO difference.  Because the window for the Multi-Panel is expanded to the full screen, that is how I use it.  The Caption Buttons are on the same level with the Menu bar and the Multi-Panel window still has that gap on the right-hand side to the bottom of the pane.  That is when using the lower resolutions, NOT at this level 1280x1024.

I can see the gap in ImageShack on my system when viewing the images,

Just for the sake of this discussion I have changed my Theme to Windows Vista | Resolution 1152x864 and taken another screen shot and posted on ImageShack, link:

For this to show as I have posted, after making the changes to the Standard Windows Vista Theme and Resolution 1152x864 then reboot.  The image as posted is what my Pegasus Mail has to show for my preferred settings of Resolution.  My preferred Theme is My Modified which is a combo of Vista and Classic Windows so I have more access to features that are not available to me in Vista.

Now to finish this, there is not a problem for me in the fact that the Multi-Panel is not filling the screen even when NOT tiled but set to full screen.  All of this was to inform you of this so you would be aware.  If this cannot be resolved is not a problem for me, I can live with it.

Again, it does not look like you are actually maximizing the screen.  I changed my resolution to the same 1152 x 864 and mine fills the entire screen when maximized. Check out the difference between mine and yours to see the difference.

I do not know why your does not since this works the same way on Win9x, WinXp and Vista.   This does not even look like a video driver problem, it looks like you did not have the window completely inside the view port before maximizing or tiling.

After all of this and not having any luck with resolving this problem, I finally had to take my system back to the store where purchased.  They looked it over and asked me what I had done to my system, SP1 was NOT installed and other updates were NOT needed on here.  I just told them I ran what they had given me and installed only what Microsoft told me I needed to get my system updated and kept that way.  They re-formatted my H/D and did a factory restore and added the SP1 that should have been there from the start and was not.

  Have spent the last three or four days re-installing most all of MY software, what I want on here, and protecting to the best of my abilities.  All indications of Pegasus Mail are still the same, if you will note the grey bar down the right side of my Pegasus image and the Caption Buttons in the upper right-hand corner are for FULL SCREEN settings.  NOT tiled.

I plan on doing your suggestion again, maybe later today, to see if that will make any difference.  I also followed Mr. Stepenson's suggestion and even changed my resolution to match his.  All seemed to work better at that Higher resolution until re-booting.  The same problem came back so I am back to my original settings.  Will report back after doing some more of my installs and any updates that may come my way.  May not be able to get back to this until tomorrow.

Thank you for all of your efforts, just as a footnote to this, some of it may be just because my system is 64bit CPUs running a 32bit O/S.  There was one file I had attempted to install on here from Microsoft that I later found out would not work on a 64bit processor, it is supposed to be upgraded later.

If you would look at the Caption Buttons, CENTER one, you will see they are set to a double panel which means FULL SCREEN.  When tiled there will be only ONE panel. I have tried several different resolutions and they all show the same after doing a reboot.

Open Pegasus Mail

Click the maximise button to maximise Pegasus so that it fills your display

Click Window>Cascade

Now click the maximise button on the muti-panel window. The multi-panel window will now fill the Pegasus Mail window.

If this does not work it suggests there may be a problem with your display driver. If you still have problems then post your graphics adaptor specs and details about the driver e.g. date.

Now to make this even worse for me, I cannot find any 'Post' button that is not connected with a message.  I am not posting this here as a reply to any post done here by any one person.  This is to fill in what I have now on my system:

 I have removed Pegasus Mail and reinstalled in a folder under my USERNAME of my system, it would not start, only flash the Pegasus startup screen and go away.  Removed that install and did another placing it on my DEFAULT drive (C:) folder "Pegasus" (without quotes) example: C:\Pegasus and there were two folders created within that one, Mail and Programs there is only one copy of the State.PMJ file as referenced by Mr. Harris and there are not any V4FP entries. Also if you look about six messages back you will find a very large example of what I am seeing on my screen.  I did something wrong when placing the link to ImageShack for that viewing, it is very large and if you drag the horizontal slide to the right you will see the GREY bar that runs vertically you will see at the top all six of the caption buttons for the MultiPanel and for Pegasus Mail and they are set to FULL SCREEN.  I feel any additional postings of screen shots will not be of any benefit to anyone.

 I have a screen shot of my Pegasus before the Uninstall with some of my mail displayed, that program was removed, also have one just made under the latest install and it looks just the same even without any mail in any of the boxes, only defaults are in there at this time.  One last point, if I may(?), when doing the uninstall of Pegasus the Mail Boxes were removed, I have copied them to a safe area and will be reinstalling them with my new install of Pegasus.  In the UNINSTALL it stated that the Mail Boxes would not be removed, they were.

My information you requested on my Video driver: "NVIDIA, dated 4/20/2007, version # 7.15.11.5822, NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430, Microsoft Windows hardware compatibility publisher" all of the information within the quotes were Copy/Pasted from the 'NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 Properties' within the 'Device Manager' in Windows Vista SP1.  If there are any other specs you wish to see just ask, I may NOT be any sort of authority on these systems but I do know where to find most information and if NOT, will ask for guidance and will retrieve it ASAP.

 As a Journeyman Electronics Technician with about 60 years experience in repairing just about anything, that includes desktops, laptops and even Data General 64bit 19" main frames, I have repaired them all.  Multimeters, analog and digital; signal generators, square wave generator; Oscilloscopes (Tektronics 500 series plugins and Hewlett Packard and others), the end, the list goes on for many more items.  I stop this here.

If you want to know more, ask in a PM, this form is not for this type of information that I ENDED in my last paragraph.  What I am trying to get across to you is I may be having some problems with displaying PMail as has been NOT a problem for me in Win98, W98SE SP1&2, Windows XP SP2 (until that last system died) it appears to me that this is mostly, if not completely, a Vista problem and I have what is listed within my sig.  I do not list all of what is on my system because it is very long, mostly if not all that are on here have been run with each other on my other systems and have not had any problems with their activity or working together or even independently.  My main reason for these postings were to inform those that know much more than I that if this has not shown before, when other users start getting into Vista, "Command Center We may have a problem here . . ." may be the calls you start to receive.
