    Thanks Greenman. I have installed an additional instance of Mercury and you are correct, when using Thunderbird only Trash is initially created, in addition to Inbox.  However, as soon as a message is sent, the Sent folder is available and as soon as any message is saved, the Drafts folder is available.  So far so good.

    However, there is an issue of two separate instances of Mercury listening on port 25 for arriving mail.  Obviously that doesn't make sense, as a thing to do.  On the IMAP side, everything seems OK, as I have made the second instance of Mercury use port 1143 rather than the usual 143.
