    555 5.5.2 Syntax error.

    hey,

    help!

    i am geting this error when i use scripts like phpbb3 and smf to sendmail, but when i send mail localey it works (file>new message)

    i only have smtp s server and smtp c thing.

    --- Problems not related to specific addresses in the message:
    555 5.5.2 Syntax error. w67sm9707498pyg.40
    *** webmaster.dell@gmail.com

    Your script is not talking to Mercury, turn off IIS SMTP services.

    i dont have IIS smtp on...

     also, when i use the squral mail thing w/e

    it works...

     does it have aything to do with how the phpbb3 and smf sends the mail?

    Your script is talking to an SMTP server, but it is not Mercury.

    You either have your script pointing at the wrong address, or you have another SMTP server running. 


     also, when i use the squral mail thing w/e

    Turn on session logging in MercuryC and check the result.  The error message suggests a badly formed address.
