A saved setting that I can't find! - when sending mail to one address it sends a copy to another address.

    Hello

I used to use Pmail with Mercury on a Novell network, but then we switched to Win2K3 and I suspect this problem comes from that - my original Mail folder contents were copied across with no problem.  Under the old system I think I must have set auto forwarding on for one address - ie if I sent email to my home email account from the school one is also sent the same email to another school address I had.  For the life of me I can't see anywhere to stop this behaviour.  Any ideas?

     Thanks

On the Netware system the autoforward was either held in bindery (bindery mode) or the PMXF.INI file (NDS).  Neither of these will be active when used with Mercury/32 on the windows system.  The only other place an autoforward could be setup in via the FORWARD file in the users mail dirrectory or a Mercury/32 rule.

Thanks - I'll check this out - we are no longer using Mercury but just pop the mail now as the whole school is on a webmail system but there's a few of us who hate its limitations. There is nothing in the pmxf.ini. I've searched the hard drive of the computer looking for any sign of the address and it comes up with nothing.  Perhaps it just one of those weird things I'll have to live with!
