multiple domain accounts with same prefix.

I'm trying to devide mail for let's say info@tupelo.biz and info@tupelo.net (both are non-existing so) this is with mercury set up in a non domain enviroment. just a a stand-alone server.

I created a local account in mercury called info and a second account, called infonet.
Through the filtering rule I'm trying to route the mail to correct recipient by using the "to" header option where the header is info@tupelo.net with "exact match" selected then do this "move mail to another user" parameter set to "infonet" the local account.
This works but the only thing that bothers me is dat the mail is also still dropped in the local mailbox of user "info" which is from another domain.

So in my opinion the move rule is the same is the copy to another user.
What I need is for mercury to look at the header to value as soon as the mail comes in, and perform a redirect to the correct local user.

Is this possible or is my mistake simply the fact of naming a local account "info" ?

    With regards Erik

The move option should indeed move, not copy, the message. But instead of trying to find out what could be wrong with that rule, I think you should remove it and create an alias for info@tupelo.net pointing to the infonet account. That way you will catch cc and bcc messages as well.

    That works splendid!!

But when the local user replies, will it send trough the alias adress or by local adres.
Never mind you can give the local account any mail adres you like i tested it and it works.

Right, it's the address supplied by the email client that appears in the message, not the Mercury mailbox or alias.

This is another way of solving the same thing: http://community.pmail.com/forums/post/8051.aspx
