Pegasus Mail System Requirements

  • Windows 98, ME, 2000, XP, 2003 Server or Vista*; Windows 95 is not supported
  • 5MB disk space for the program, plus storage for mail and data
  • 8MB RAM over and above the operating system requirements

Optional

  • Internet connection (Pegasus Mail can operate as a purely local mail program)
  • Pegasus Mail can be installed on a memory stick for completely portable mail

Supported Network Environments

  • Pegasus Mail has full support for Novell NetWare 3.x to 6.x
  • Pegasus Mail supports Windows NT Server and Windows Server 2003
  • Pegasus Mail can be used as a workgroup mailer on Windows peer-to-peer networks
  • Pegasus Mail can be used on Samba networks.

* Windows Vista: Pegasus Mail's help system requires the user to download WinHelp from the Microsoft support site when running under Vista, and the program cannot currently be configured to act as the mail handler for mailto: URLs on Vista systems: these restrictions will be addressed in the next release of the program.
