• Re: Persistant registry entry help needed

Just briefly back to instances. Windows keeps a list of active window apps, and this is in startup order. So if you can control the startup of instances, it is likely that Windows will use the first occurence of your app or Wsendto.exe if there is no direct pointer to the locations in your app. Martin

  • Re: Persistant registry entry help needed

I believe that the solution includes the use of the HINSTANCE handle which is a value stored in the HWINDOW structure. See MSDN entries describing how to create Windows with the same classname. This allows Windows with same class name to exist together. This is also the original way to prevent the starting of multiple Windows with the same ...

  • Re: Persistant registry entry help needed

Could you possibly have three versions of WSendto.exe, ie Wsendto1.exe, WSendto2.,exe, and WSendto3.exe. Then you would need to detect the environment you need. It would seem that you have the drive letter such as F;, L: (ie Flash and LAN). You don't mention how you would determine which instance to use. But it might be selected by ...

  • Re: Pegasus mail issues

Hi there, Most importantly you must not install Pegasus Mail in the Program Files directory tree. You should let Pegasus Mail install itself in its normal location: c:\pmail. There is no New Mail folder to set up. It is usually located as c:\pmail\mail\admin (userid Admin) and automatically setup when Pegasus Mail is ...

  • Re: Message stuck in outbox?

The files will be located in the Newmail directory (c:\pmail\mail\userid) and are files like *.pmo and/or *.pnx they can be simply deleted. You might first want to view the PMO file in a utility such as Notepad so you can re-compose and send it. I presume you have checked the in main menu File/Reviewed queued mail Martin

  • Re: Change Date of an email

I would suggest you identify the cell phone ISP, and pass back to him/her the following text from RFC822: A.3. COMPLETE HEADERS A.3.1. Minimum required Date: 26 Aug 76 1429 EDT Date: 26 Aug 76 1429 ...

  • Re: Change Date of an email

In this day and age you should not be experiencing any large amount of badly built email messages. What with major software vendors (Microsoft, Google and Apple) as well as user ISP services, that are all very aware of RFC SMTP standards, there should only be infrequent occasions that cause problems. All that should be necessary is to advise ...

  • Re: Change Date of an email

There is an easier way to edit an incoming email message. While the message is in the New Mail ''folder'' (ie c:\pmail\mail\username) you can right click on the message in the message list and select Properties. There you will find the filename (*.CNM). You can then use Notepad type editors to correct or add a Date: line Martin
