• Re: Preview pdf attachments

There is no preview of PDF files presently. You can however define an application to view an attachment type in the menu Tools / Options / Incoming Mail / Content Viewers. Just add .pdf as a file type and leave the opening to Windows application default. This will invoke Adobe Acroread. Then just be patient as Acroread starts up ...

  • Re: Printing issue in 4.41.

Are you trying to print an html page? If so you should try Shift + Ctrl + P to have Bearhtml print the page. Make sure you have PrintSetup=Yes in bearhtml.ini so you get dialogs to allow you to change printer properties. HTH Martin

  • Re: Raw source displays in message view

Please send me a complete message including all headers etc in a zip file. The symptom you report normally only occurs when the html renderer Bearhtml cannot display the formatted message, so it falls back and tries to show you the source html. The alternative reason is that the message headers are incorrect or not conforming to ...

  • Re: Remote-linked graphics problem

I have investigated this problem, and a fix will be available in version 3.0.3 of Bearhtml. It is caused by the lack of a legitimate filename. The question mark tells the web server to execute a script to generate the image. I will only allow this request to be made if fetching remote graphics is allowed/requested. Thanks for ...

  • Re: WinPMail container errors

I would try making the Temp directory unhidden first. Then if that fails, try setting up a TEMP variable in the Environmental variables (Control Panel/System/Advanced. Pegasus Mail makes extensive use of Temp and its sub-directories. I would also check that your users have their new mail directories set up in a read/write area, so that folders, ...

  • Re: Add an RSS Reader into Pegasus -- please?

FYI I have the Html version of RssMail, it is called RssHtml. It creates the html stream version of the RSS feed, and places it anywhere on my pc. I then point a shortcut at it, and double clicking it invokes my browser, Firefox. The utility is on my website http://www3.telus.net/public/irelam/ I have not put it in ...

Maybe consider PSPad (http://www.pspad.com/) which can create files in may languages, using Unicode. Then simply attach the file and send. Martin

  • Re: VBA object

Hello there, Pegasus Mail already has an external interface. It is defined in the Extensions toolkit available on this website under Download/Pegasus Mail/ Add-ons. A new interface model will be coming out which will define more access to internal objects. Also if you are more familiar with VBA, you could consider programming using DDE to ...
