• Re: "MBox" (RFC 4155) support?

Click the Folders menu item. You will see the Create a Folder. It has a drop down choice, and there you will see Unix MBOXs. Import and Export work. Martin

  • Re: downloading PDF messages acting up again

go to menu Tools/Options/Content Viewers, and ensure you have an entry for .PDF that points to AcroRd32.exe (acroread or equivalent PDF display program). And for outgoing messages that will contain Pdf attachments, ensure that they are defined as Application/binary, not text/plain. This check will be done automatically if you add this ...

  • Re: PMail corrupted email from Verizon.

From the conversion error GIF2BMP you got in Pegasus Mail, I would suspect that you were using Pegasus Mail internal message displayer, in Text mode, not either Bearhtml or IERenderer Html renderers. You should check the message headers for a Content-Type-Multipart line indicating that a Multipart message has been created, which would ...

  • Re: RssMail being withdrawn

Thank you for your comments. I am only refering to RSS-based content, which is only available as XML streams. The RSS icon indicates a qualified RSS stream. I think the words News and RSS are confusing to people. RSS is not Blog content although RSS allows the embedding of Blog content via the CDATA tag. RSS is highly structured but ...

  • Re: RssMail being withdrawn

Euler, I am using both Rssmail and RssOWL so I can compare and see if there are any problems with Rssmail. So far things look ok with my existing Rssmail. However the feed from various newspapers like the DailyTelegraph are now loaded with lots of unwanted tags and new structured syntax. So I had to drop theses links from ...

  • Re: RssMail being withdrawn

Just a quick note that I received notification from Netscape browser team that the News Feed system is being withdrawn completely from Firefox in November and December, worldwide. They provided a set of links to third party News Readers that could possibly replace their service. I also noticed that SeaMonkey is no longer offering a Mail and ...

  • RssMail being withdrawn

I am removing RssMail (converts RSS streams into Pegasus Mail messages) from the Community download area, as the new RSS 2.5+ has become unworkable. The RSS streams that users want to continue using should change the feeds over to using their main browsers Subscribe function. The existing RssMail will continue to work until the providers ...

  • Re: Can't reindex or delete an open folder - how do I close it

First do a property click on the folder to get the folder name(aaaaaa.pmm and index aaaaa.pmi). Then shutdown Pegasus Mail and use Windows Explorer etc to delete them both. You can then recreate the folder, BUT any rules will have to be re-established as Pegasus Mail uses the internal names for folders etc Martin

  • Re: Do HTML renderers affect replies? I have a reply formatting issue since upgrading both.

Brian and Michael, I now believe that neither renderer is involved, and place suspicion on TER/HTS running in Pegasus Mail. I can see no logging activity in Bearhtml when replies are processed. The only test I can think to prove this is to disable both Bearhtml and IERenderer and see if the Reply function still works. ...
