• Re: Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC

selberherr:The hangs are indeed true hangs, since I tested them by waiting for more than an hour. It must be connected to Windows LTSC, or at least, I did not observe the phenomenon with any older version. Hi Siegfried, there is a way for doing some diagnostics on this issue: Please get and install the MiniDump extension and run its Snapshot ...

Brian Fluet: The browser submenu works for me So I'm as happy as can be. Upgrading IER you see Just isn't a priority. Ok, that's embarrassing, but I'm posting it anyway. I hope it provides a lighthearted moment for somebody. Thanks, Brian, it does. Since you're ...

  • IER update

Since nobody (except for Martin Ireland) appears to have read (or at least told so) my final reply to the IER and thread I'm now opening an new thread here announcing my latest IER update solving at least the image display issue some people encountered with recent releases to get at least some more feedback, I hope - or should I say ...

  • Re: Problem Retrieving From Gmail Using POP

Maybe it would be worth taking a look at this (pretty old) post of David Harris himself? Since I'm not and never have been using GMail I certainly can't tell what's right or wrong myself ...

  • Re: IERenderer v2.6.2.2 and VIEWER.PM

irelam:Just to let you know that Firefox is warning of an expired certificate when fetching your latest IER from your website. Welcome back..... None of my browsers including Firefox does so and it would be rather odd if any did since the file is hosted by one of or still the largest German internet provider(s).

  • Re: IERenderer v2.6.2.2 and VIEWER.PM

OK, I'm back again now after vacation and health related breaks and some further frustrating trials and errors. I can now at least tell that IER's image display issue has been solved after detecting a Windows ''feature'' I didn't ever expect to exist at all in combination with IE's special handling of long filenames with blank spaces that ...

  • Re: IERenderer slower than BearHTML when loading remote images

Brian Fluet:I don't know whether there is any dependency by IER on the default printer however, None that I would have created on purpose, so if there is any it's an implicit one.

  • Re: PMPGP / OpenPGP security issues?

OK, since I'm now subject to moderation (I wonder which one of my words triggered it?) I cannot provide the promised links where I intended to, so here they come in a separate post:Autocrypt;Bruce Schneier, No1 (2016) & No2 (2018). Does anyone care?

  • Re: PMPGP / OpenPGP security issues?

Pmail Ninja:When You say: ''But since I haven't updated PMPGP ... for several years'', what's about Your 04-18-2018 post: And -not to bother You- is Your SIG still appropriate, if PMPGP shouldn't be used anymore? That was just for maintenance purposes of still existing users. PMPGP is simply ...
