• Re: Changing HTML font size for 4K monitor

The default HTML renderer in current versions is IERenderer which offers configuration settings via its own dialog accessible by its button on Pegasus Mail's main toolbar (usually the rightmost one). The version coming with PM 4.73 provides an option for selecting different font faces and another one for increasing font sizes like browsers do ...

  • Re: problem after windows 10 April Update, version 1803

Generally you can assume that any enhancement of security and protection (like safer hash or encryption algorithms, DNS lookups etc.) results in slower data access. I'm seeing this when opening new websites in Firefox, e.g.. Just an idea ...

  • Re: Printing request closes Pegasus

Greenman:Use a single print engine - automatically default to IER or whichever because the default print icon leads to printed matter where HTML formatted messages look a mess ... This won't happen since David Harris is already dealing with enough other stuff - which is already one reason for the HTML renderer being an ''outsourced'' ...

  • Re: Printing request closes Pegasus

J.G:Thanks again Michael, My problem is that I haven't specifically set anything up (for myself or Colin) regarding printing - ie. I haven't overtly set IER or BearHtml - and the only option I see that concerns printing is the selection of a different font under [Incoming Mail][Message Reader]. I'm really, really, really ...

  • Re: Printing request closes Pegasus

J.G:I suspect that what was/is happening is that the type of message selected will have a bearing upon whether [Ctrl]P (or the [Print] icon) works or not. I've asked Colin to do some tests in this regard. If using IER there is no need for using Shift-Ctrl-P anymore if IER has been configured the default HTML printer. In this case IER will ...

  • Re: Printing request closes Pegasus

J.G:still a work-a-round but doable. This isn't quite right. For formatted (HTML) messages both BearHtml and IERenderer provide their own print routines for avoiding issues with the built-in printing when processing HTML text. [Shift][Ctrl]P is their proper print command. Additionally IER usually offers its printing to be set as default for ...

  • Re: Pegasus crashes on attempted display of certain emails ...

kaspencer:I am perfectly happy to copy an example of the offending messages into a post on this forum, but wondered how it preferred for this to be done. Kenneth, please do as advised in the static (FAQ) post at the top of this forum first.

  • Re: Checking mail before downloading

petulengro:Hi, just changed computers, on my old one I could check in-coming mail before selecting to download or mark for deletion. Don't know how to get this to work on new machine. Can anyone help please Pegasus Mail's File menu provides an entry called Selective mail download. Additionally, assuming you did a fresh install of Pegasus Mail, ...

  • Re: Allow Multiple Attachments - Simultaneously

eirman:Perhaps it should be ON by default. The reason for implementing it were serious issues (like crashes IIRC) when being enabled, otherwise it would never have been considered at all.

  • Re: "Could not communicate with Pegasus Mail"

mikepe:I'm running Pegasus Mail Version 4.73.639 under Windows 10 64-bit. Did you ever run Pegasus Mail's installer on this system (instead of just copying it from another machine or keeping it as is during a major Windows update)? If not this would be the first thing to do, after a major Windows update this might be helpful as well. Just ...
