• Re: SpamHalter's WI_SPH.INI file vs. documentation

Reed_D:E.g., if I see ''su*Order'' does the ''su*'' possibly signify the word being in the subject? Without knowing more details about Spamhalter I'm pretty sure that su* and fr* signify subject and from headers.

  • Re: IMAP with Yahoo Mail

Psider: I just wanted to see if anyone can confirm that connecting to Yahoo Mail is only possible by enabling ''Allow apps that use less secure sign-in'' in the Yahoo Account Settings? Here's a post about a similar GMAIL (Google) issue, IOW: It's a known one that obviously doesn't only apply to YAHOO.

  • Re: SpamHalter's WI_SPH.INI file vs. documentation

Reed_D: E.g., I'm fairly sure that yesterday and today, I classifed messages with ''ADT'' in the subject line as spam, but I don't find ''ADT'' in the word database. This depends certainly on the encoding applied to the respective subject, and since spam usually tries to hide from filters it may use one even if not really required. If you take a ...

  • Re: Insurmountable Problem Rejects New Forum Registrations

johnjames:fiasco. You need to contact David Harris directly who can add you manually. Since I'm not at home I can't exactly tell you where to get his address from, but I think it's somewhere on the Help > About > Info screen in Pegasus Mail.

  • Re: Invalid Offset in index record

BMS:Any suggestions for a permanent cure? Try reindexing after closing Pegasus Mail using <mbxmaint_ui.exe> which you'll find in Pegasus Mail's ''Programs'' subdirectory (defaults to <C:\PMail\Programs> if you didn't change it yourself).

  • Re: Problem rendering HTML

David H. Lipman:Line #224, the line before...style=3D''font-family:Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:8= This is weird: The message Martin forwarded to me doesn't contain the period to begin with, and AFAIK David Harris doesn't modify raw messages other than inserting the flags line you quoted previously. This is what I ...

David H. Lipman:X-PMFLAGS: 34095616 0 1 PA48ISWH.CNM This is Pegasus Mail's flags code after doing an initial message parsing. David H. Lipman:On the server extracted RAW text, the line starts with ''.5pt'' and Pegasus removed the leading ''.'' leaving ''5pt'' .5pt;''><tr style=3D''background-color:#cccccc;height:10px''><td ...

BTW: Since I'm not at home today I can't do this, but another test using Mozilla's Thunderbird should certainly show similar distorted results as Pegasus Mail does ...

  • Re: Problem rendering HTML

David H. Lipman:Now in theory the RAW Format extracted from the web server and the RAW format extracted from P-Mail should be the same. But they are different. I attached them in a ZIP file. And when you see the four files ( 2 x TXT and 2 x EML ) listed in WinZIP it shows that the file size and CRC is different meaning there is a ...

  • Re: Problem rendering HTML

irelam:Michael discovered the problem in the CSS coding; there is no definite solution as the statement can vary. In this case it was ''font-size:85pt;''. So turning off CSS is a temporary solution that can prove that it is CSS not Html code that is the culprit. Martin Since this an arbitrary issue I could override fonts and sizes but ...
