• Re: Pegasus 4.73 on Linux

Jim727: The problem could be with Crossover. I don't profess to understand its inner workings but even when I used their install for version 4.70 I received the same error. Perhaps the true solution is to find how Crossover sets its pathing and modify IERenderer.fff so it can find the module? Well, this sounds quite confusing and ...

  • Re: double-click doesn't get my browser

rgakins:Pegasus 4.72.572, Win10 Sorry to hear, who ever you are, ''rgakins'', but there are so many factors involved that it is usually pretty difficult to figure out what causes it. It's very likely that some system or browser update was involved, but since we don't know which one you're using as your default it's hard to tell what might help. ...

  • Re: Pegasus 4.73 on Linux

Jim727:Install Pegaasus 4.73 as an upgrade, error returns. Re-edit IERenderer.fff as above, save and launch. No error. So, the solution was hiding in plain sight: just set Form flags = 0 and it works. Now to add the other mailboxes and continue testing. Here's hoping this helps someone else. All this wouldn't have been ...

  • Re: Pegasus 4.73 on Linux

Jim727:I disabled IERenderer.fff and Renderer.pm in the programs direcory - no luck. I'm sorry to say, but this error only occurs if there's still an IERenderer.fff file somewhere in your installation, either the ...\programs\ subdirectory or user mailboxes. Removing or renaming them will solve your issue, this is definitely the solution no ...

  • Re: Pegasus 4.73 on Linux

First thing everyone should know when trying to uninstall IERenderer on which system ever: The easiest and cleanest way to go is by using the uninstaller that is provided when installing IER via Pegasus Mail's own default installer (and any IER update), i.e. if Pegasus Mail's installer installed IER you should be able to run IER's uninstaller from ...

  • Re: Cannot send email, but can receive

George:After 30 or so years of trouble free use I suddenly cannot send emails using Pegasus. My provider is xtra.co.nz. Well, George, I'm sure you know that the real surprise here isn't the fact that after 30 years of working flawlessly you encounter your first troubles with Pegasus Mail but the fact that it ran trouble free for such a long ...

  • Re: Attachment not saveable / problem with special characters in attached file names?

Joerg:The content of this new mail is not soo sensitive, so I could forward it to you in trust that you don't share it further (except to your Pmail dev team). Should I use your IDW t-online address? Would you prefer that I bounce the mail or should I forward the mail by ''new mail with current mail attached''? The latter option would be the ...
