• Re: Problem with ClamWall /ClamAV filtering of mail headers

The SaneSecurity.ftm file is not downloaded by the script because usually it's not needed. Currently the only known case where it's needed is the Linux MailScanner application which doesn't pass the unmodified mail to ClamD. Best regards, Nico

  • Re: Problem with ClamWall /ClamAV filtering of mail headers

kwikzilver:Does anyone have an idea what can be the cause of this? Not really. ClamWall passes the whole mail to ClamD without any modifications and, as the test signature in the body is recognized at both installations it seems that the SaneSecurity signatures are also correctly loaded. The only thing which comes to my mind is that some other ...

  • Re: Trigger sending manually

AFAIK not without editing the queue files. You could however set the period between the job retries to a lower value. See Core Module configuration -> Mail queue. Best regards, Nico

  • Re: ClamD - Installation problem

Well, if there is demand I could of course provide a build which runs on smaller CPU's as well. For now please contact me by mail and I'll see what I can do. Best regards, Nico

  • Re: ClamD - Installation problem

Thomas R. Stephenson: Possibly, you might ask Nico tbb@hideout.ath.cx if this version of ClamAV uses some function that is not available in Win98. I do know that Win98 does not have a lot of the functions of WinXP. I'm here :) This ClamAV build should run under Win98 as well but unfortunately I have no possibility to test it under this OS. ...

  • Re: New Version 4.7

Peter Strömblad:Pls update me with your issue when 4.71 is out. Looks good. The 4.71rc survived two mailinglist runs with the usual bounces without a crash :) Thanks and best regards, Nico

  • Re: Sv: Re: Sv: Re: New Version 4.7

Thanks for the clarification, Peter. Not that I want to delay 4.71 further but I'm having a issue with my ClamAV mailinglist and Mercury 4.62 that is, if a bounce comes in to VERP (I'm using MercuryC and sometimes my ISP's SMTP is listed at dumb dnsbl's like SORBS) as long as Mercury is still busy processing outgoing mail to the list, Mercury ...

  • Re: New Version 4.7

About nine month ago it was announced that the beta test is going to be opened to the public: David Harris:After consultation with my closed test teams, we've reached the conclusion that the community and the quality of the programs would be best served if we opened up the beta testing process: making betas available publicly would allow wider ...

  • Re: clamav for window problem

keithy:Is this safe for production use? sadly theres no info (nor even a link) on the clamwall website! Short answer: Well..if it works, yes :) Long answer: The changes in this ClamWall version are not that spectacular and Lukas tends to release stable code ;) As for the webpage, usually it takes a while until Lukas updates it but the update ...
