• Favorite folders?

When organizing my emails, I often want to move recent messages to a subset of my 50+ folders - these are messages relating to projects I'm working on at the moment, and there are only 5 or so of those. Having the most recent 5 folders I used in a quick one-click list somewhere would greatly speed up the sorting process!

  • Select - delete/move - select

When I select a message to move or delete it in the inbox, press move/delete/whatever, and then proceed to select another message too quickly, Pegasus accidentally performs the required operation on the newly selected message. Using 4.7.

  • Status bar text on Exit

If I hover over the Exit option in the File menu, the status bar shows ''Quit from Pegasus Mail, returning to the Program Manager''. Windows 3.1? :-)

  • Re: Remove attachments: multi-select

Even nicer would be an option on right-clicking a message to ''remove all attachments'' from the currently selected message(s)... If someone sends me a bunch of files in separate emails because of file size limits, which people often do (even though they should use ftp or Dropbox or whatever for this), saving and then removing attachments from a ...

  • IMAP update mail count & save changes?

When I make changes to my local IMAP inbox, these are not executed on the server, apparently, until I close the IMAP connection. Is this a bug or intentional? To check, I have the same IMAP folder open on a webmail interface as well (it's an Outlook Exchange server, actually), and I see the messages there until I manually disconnect the ...

  • Remove attachments: multi-select

Bug report, I think: if I multiselect a set of attachments using CTRL, and then click Delete Attachment, and confirm in the pop-up dialogue, only the first selected attachment is actually deleted. (Moreover, the size of the message, which resides in the New Mail folder, is not updated; but when I move the message to another folder, it is.)

  • Start New Message to Sender: fetch mail address from IMAP

Currently, if I right-click a message in an IMAP folder, and choose Start New Message to Sender..., the complete message, including attachments, is fetched - presumably in order to supply me with the Sender's email address. That seems unnecessary.

  • Re: Attachment problem

    1. Do you receive any error message back from your mail server? Possibly, your ISP sees the messages as spam, and blocks them. If so, you should get a warning message back, which appears as an e-mail in your inbox. 2. Can you see the e-mail with attachment in the Queue? (click Review queued mail... in the File menu)

  • Re: Reply to all

Do you see a tiny dropdown button next to 'Reply'? If you click it, it will show you three options at the bottom of the fold-out menu, saying 'Button does...'. You can set that to Reply-all, if you want.

  • Attachments: save all & open folder

A button to save all attachments at once (saves the hassle of selecting all of them) to a folder (still requires folder selection window) AND then open that folder (saves lots of clicking through explorer) might be quite useful - it could even replace the Save+Edit button as far as I'm concerned. For many files - e.g., a bunch of pictures someone ...
