• Re: Hyphen in email address breaks hyperlink in Cc?

Paul and Olaf,Thanks for you replies and tests! The only 'real' problem or error occurs when you try to lift that hyphenated email address out of that malformatted address entry (with out < ... >) e.g. using right mouse button. ... By the way, this is the first time I have noticed it in all the years ... but just wanted to mention ...

  • Re: Hyphen in email address breaks hyperlink in Cc?

Thanks Olaf, The funny thing was that I never noticed the hyphening wrap in combination with the truncating of the email address before. This even my email address has a hyphen and I frequently add my email address into the Cc ... So I checked again and have to slightly correct my statement. You (and me) are right that the hyphen adds a line ...

  • Hyphen in email address breaks hyperlink in Cc?

Not sure whether this was mentioned before but it seems that when an email address has an hyphen in the name the hyperlink is broken or truncated ignoring the first part till the hyphen. This seems to apply to addresses in the Cc field only.Example: <joe-someone@hixxx.xx> turns into <someone@hixxx.xx> If the email is at the end of ...

  • Re: Removing To: header in Sent mail folder

Yes and no Yes, you are absolutely right in respect to the ''To''. I definitely agree that it should be somehow clear that theses messages in the COPYSELF folder are sent TO the address and are not from that address (I never disputed that). However, my comment was actually purely related to the ''inconsistency'' in the description. Why is there ...

  • Re: Removing To: header in Sent mail folder

I assume that it is based on a quick-fix-work-around from the past ... but still an inconsistency which I assume will get fixed? However, when it comes to the columns as well as the button bars I would still like to see more flexibility allowing to easily add, remove and adjust to personal preferences and needs - best through context menu of ...

  • Re: Forward message and use BCC, CC as well at To addresses

Jim,Just hit forward when you are on a message. In the next screen you may leave the ''Forward to'' field empty (you may enter it later). Below select ''Edit or make changes to messages before forwarding them'' then press ''Forward''. The message will appear ready to be edited with all the options and tabs you normally have with a new email. So ...

  • Re: Locked Mail box

Eshtaol:[...] ... there was no specific listing for *.cnm files I had to run my mouse over every icon to to see which was listed as a *.cnm file. ...[...] Eshtaol,Good to hear that you could solve the problem. Just as a side note. From your description I got the impression that your settings in the Windows Explorer may be such that you ...

  • Re: Locked Mail box

Eshtaol:But just exactly where am I supposed to find these files to move if I can't even get into the mailbox? Where in Pmail do I have to go to find As Steffan suggested, try to locate your email/data folder (not through PM). I guess PM probably created it during installation (?) so it could be somewhere close to C:\program ...

  • Re: Background colour and paper pattern

I haven't really used it myself apart from testing. However, tick the box ''Rich text'' and then the icon ''Insert a picture'' and select ''Add wallpaper''. Add the image you want to use as a background wallpaper. Of course any message formatting and the sending of formatted messages should not be disabled under Tools-> Options - Message ...

  • Re: Receiving many, many blank emails without headers, even when in offline mode

PaulW: I would try disabling all the addons you have, one-by-one, until you go back to a stable system. In addition: A bit of a wild guess ... , but check your Antivirus system and settings. It may as well have an Anti-Spam system integrated (so you would run two). Some systems actually place themselves in between your Pegasus Mail and your ...
