• Re: Linking disabled?

Peter Strömblad:No, not disabled - but the editor behavior is different depending on the browser you use. F.ex. in IE8 links are automatically created in the editor either by typing www. or http://nn - this is very much dependent on the background processing of java in each browser. Peter,What I meant was the greyed out icon. I used links before ...

  • Linking disabled?

Peter, I just realised that linking seems to be disabled (greyed out) ? By accident or on purpose? Cheers Thomas

  • Re: Mail sorting

Sharkfin:Pegasus doesn't have macros, so you can't do this ''on-the-fly'' folder creation. Unless, that is, someone is able to write some kind of plug-in. Hi Make and Sharkfin,Yes, unfortunately there is no Macro Recorder which would have allowed Make to do exactly what he wants ... I already have suggested to consider the implementation of a ...

  • Re: forwarded message not in Queue Manager

Daniela Rossi:yes... in fact it is a bit complicated. I'll save it for when I have a little time. Thanks very much! Daniela Hi Daniela,... I agree, it takes some time and effort to get into it ... However, maybe you are happy with my version which is based on the default and the description by David Harris? Try the following and it only takes ...

  • Email copy of own post

Hi Peter,I would find it very useful to receive a copy of my own posting by email similarly to other postings.I have mentioned this before and you wanted to check whether the system would allow for it. I just recall and want to mention that 'approved' messages actually arrive as a email copy. Maybe there is a switch somewhere.CheersThomas-M.

  • Re: forwarded message not in Queue Manager

Daniela Rossi: [...] It's really strange because I can see all other queued emails in the Queue manager window. Actually, I keep it open at all times, as a very small window, so I have an overlook on the mail I send without ''surprises''. [...] Hi Daniela,Your above section ''I keep it open at all times'' actually brought the clue ... For ...

  • Re: forwarded message not in Queue Manager

Daniela Rossi:Hello Steffan, I need to see the queued messages in the outbox because sometimes I need to check whether the addresses are correct, or to change the message I edited. What I'd like to do is see them in the queue, with all other regular messages, and be able to open them again if I want to. The problem is after I click send ...

  • Re: Multiple Identities

Mten6:Thanks Sharkfin! The different identities are for outgoing only (separate for business, personal, social, etc.). All email identities come in together and are sorted with filters. So, can you tell me the steps to take to set up the alternative identities for outgoing mail. Sorry, I'm a real beginner here. Michael ...

  • Re: SMTP settings for Sky Broadband (UK)

Ambassador: [...] the claim that my username and password are unacceptable was when using Port 25. [...] I am not sure whether this may apply in your case but maybe worth checking.I had my Internet Service Provider, NOT email provider, blocking all Port 25 (smtp) traffic for ADSL connection if the smtp traffic was not directed through ...
