• Re: another computer access

Don,Hm, this sounds more like a more general issue on how you and your partner organise emails and access to them rather then something 100% related to Pegasus Mail (PM). However, PM is very flexible and supports many different scenarios to suit your needs (and it does it much better than many other clients I believe). There are many ways to go ...

  • Re: another computer access

DonThere is probably not one solution but it all depends on what you exactly want to do and what the environments you operating in permit - options and restriction you are facing e.g. at home, work, travelling etc. and what your ISP provider supports etc. One way could be to use the IMAP (instead of POP3) which allows multiple clients to access ...

  • Re: Removal of sender's signature block when replying

Sharkfin:I've often wondered about this. If someone else were to ask this question here, I'd probably reply that Pegasus doesn't do it. Can I get Pegasus to automatically trim anything below the recognised signature delimiter of HYPHEN HYPHEN SPACE when I reply to a message? Sharkfin and others,I believe that many requests for ...

  • Preview of .CNM files sent as attachments

I just realised that after sending complete .CNM files as attachments, the content does not show in the preview pane of the attachment view but only the email headers are being displayed instead. In the column ''Type'' under ''Multi-part section'' it is declared as unknown. Looking at the raw data the attached file is encoded BASE64. When I sent ...

  • Re: Display text of annotations

oonumberoo:When a folder is open, the list of emails is shown in columns beneath six 'headings': Blank, From, Subject, Date/Time, Size, Blank. Why cannot the final column be headed Annotations and show the text of any annotation? This is the only thing that irks me about Pegasus. I have searched several times for an answer but have ...

  • Re: Add mailbox to list - folders okay and what about trays?

PaulW:Something not right - I always see the complete folder structure in added mailboxes. Thanks Paul,I get a flat folder view with all folders listed alphabetically, even those which supposed to be in the trays. All folders including search folders etc. I add a mailbox through the ''Directory path'' option. The ''Username'' option does not ...

  • The "The Pegasus Mail Thousand" ...?

As to David ''Update: as of October 19th, there have been about 800 people indicating that they are willing to join The Thousand and around 400 who have actually done so: this is a great start - my thanks to you all! Keep spreading the word!'' I would like to remind the rest of us that the 'crisis' is not over yet and that if only half of those ...

  • Add mailbox to list - folders okay and what about trays?

Adding another mailbox to the list works fine however it does not include and display the tray structure.I wonder why or wether I am doing something wrong? If not then I would like to suggest to included the tray structure as well so that the entire mailbox looks the same as if I would open it up directly.ThanksThomas

Peter Strömblad:No new version in the loop. Can't afford one. [text deleted] Peter,> No new version in the loop. Can't afford one.We always keep assuming that as things are there and freely accessible they also come for free ... I know from my own experiences that they are definitely not! Hope you have found a way to finance this ...

  • Re: Just one issue so far with 4.51

Thomas R. Stephenson:> What exactly do I have to look for in the hierarch.pm?Strange things at the end of the file mostly. Sometimes I find what looks like binary data at the end of the file.> I checked some older forum postings and you mentioned the removing of lines with ''Name_Unavailable'' in it - I had quite a few.> How are ...
