• Re: Automatic recognition of URL's

In my world, an HTML editor that will not act on the selected text, but will compel you instead to write the same text again, same text which will then be added close to your previously selected text, that is called an HTML editor that doesn't work. For editors in general, not only HTML editors, not applying the action on the selected ...

  • The "2 messages" in status bar while sending

There is a little something that has been irking me since the nineties. I was a total newbie at the time and whenever I sent ONE message, Pmail told me it was sending TWO in the status bar. Then as I shifted to DSL, and I forgot about it because the transfer is so fast I don't have time to read the status bar. However, if this ...

  • Re: Automatic recognition of URL's

Ok, so, does that mean that we have to give the wish of automatic link paste/display for the future version of Pmail? It's not about you particularly PaulW, but it's the first development forum that I EVER saw where you can expect ANY simple plain obvious suggestion to be denied legitimacy. Not only in this thread, but in many ...

  • Re: Automatic recognition of URL's

Just relying on my common sense, I feel that: It's better without horizontal scrollIt's better without checking optionsIt's better without using external fixes like tinyurl More generally, taking into account the scope of the Suggestions forum in the more genral scope of the development of Pmail, I feel it is safer to ...

  • Re: Calendar

I had a look at IBM Lotus organizer. It allows you to create events, and then send invitations through any mail client you like. From that point of view, and from that point of view only, the MAPI function of Pegasus would be sufficient.

  • Re: Message replied to

Well, Sharkfin, I have to agree with you. The user doesn't have to ''fix'' what is incorrect behaviour from the application. A message not sent should nor be marked a sent, dot.

Yes, with a click to download from inside the application.

  • Re: Options and Preferences

I have been looking at Options -> User interface and, realizing that all contents could be better placed in the other categories, I found that User interface makes no sense. List displays could move to Incoming mail, and mix with Folder behaviours -> Folders colouring and Folder behaviours -> Grouped view in a new Incoming mail ...

  • Re: International spell-checking

Would it be possible to store them on a Pmail server?

  • Re: Floating windows, Preview and List

I don't understand what is the meaning of Options -> Incoming Mail -> Preview mode settings -> Apply filtering rules when previewing folders. First, I don't understand the difference between open and preview in this case. When I click on a container and I see the list of contents, I call that an opened folder. I call preview the ...
