• Re: Problem with create account on ThunderBird login to SMTP Server use SSL

It seems you have an old version of Mercury. Upgrade please! The port settings for POP3 should be 995. I do not use POP3 so I can't tell you, if STARTTLS and (i think standing there) ''normal password'' will work. With SMTP I have enabled alternate port 587 and configured direct-connect SSL on port 465 (with your old Mercury you do not have ...

  • Re: Trouble with Mecury Server in combination with Outlook Clients

Hallo Susanne 1. When sending mail to different mail accounts of myself through the internet, I do not instantaniously get back the mail to the mail address but it can take one day until the mail is delivered Sounds like your mails may be greylisted. Have a look at the logs if mails leave Mercury immediately - and enable logging for all used ...

It isn't for shure - Taskmanager doesn't show anything with Pegasus and MAILBOX.LCK does not exist in mailbox- or new-mail-directory in my homedirectory on server. • Pegasus crashes on renaming central addressbook

Hi all, if I try to rename a central addressbook, my up to date Pegasus crashes. My first thought was, this may happen, because there are other accessing the addressbook. But this morning I ensured nobody else accessing - and Pegasus crashed again. Any suggestions? Bye Olaf

  • Re: Windows firewall rules?

Hi Brian, should be possible, because you may add any program. But from that point it is difficult for me to explain the steps (due to german Windows). I'll try it but my translation may be bad:at the menue I allready talked about you have a list of programmsabove the list there is a Button <change adjustment>on clicking you may choose ...

  • Re: Windows firewall rules?

Hi Brian, I never turned the Firewall off. There should be no problem as long as you ensure (if Windows doesn't automatically), that Mercury and his Modules are allowed to access the public network and may be accessed from Internet. You max do this by adding Mercury to (sorry - have german Windows so directly translated) ''Adding program or ...

  • Re: Date Sent »» offset by +4 hours

You configured (or it's default) Pegasus to apply timezone correction to the maillist so that Pegasus shows all mails with date converted to your timezone. Hmm - translated directly from german Pegasus if a message marked in mailölist: Message - > [x] Apply timezone corretionIf you open the mail or print it, Pegasus shows the real date-header ...

  • Re: Autoreplies rejected by some email servers

We are using Mercury's SYNONYM.MER database functionality to ''translate'' our official (internet) user e-mail addresses into the local user names and vice versa. * FJR too, but ... When activating the autoresponse function in Pmail, Mercury is using '''' as sender's address for autoresponse mails. ... as shown in ...
