• Re: Pegasus Mail crashes while sending

Hi Eric, if it worked after chainging the encryption and provider didn't change back (tested that?), you should have a look at any files corresponding to sending mails. So first have a look at the mailqueue in Pegasus. Is there any mail? In case delete them all. Perhaps have a look at your saved drafts if there are any, you can delete and close ...

  • Re: Use filter to copy message to directory?

Hi Brian, Similar here. My problem just happens to be with the company President. There's no easy answer. Ahh - I see! For that reason some years ago we created functional mail addresses, that due to using IMAP for the mailboxes may be managed by several people. But installing these procedures needs some organizational changes ...

  • Re: Use filter to copy message to directory?

Hi Brian, first you have to add a mailbox within Pegasus (maybe in english version FOLDER -> Add Mailbox to list -> choose based on directory and choose one). If you have added it and perhaps built some folders you need, you may add filters to pegasus moving mails to this additional mailbox ... the folders in there. You can't create ...

  • Re: Can't to connect to several IMAP servers

  • Re: Saving the address book let Pmail crashing

If a notebook is not on battery, disable power saving options (except maybe monitor/display). Pegasus is not the only application that doesn't like service interrupts due to power saving. Even Microsofts Office has sometime problems while accessing network resources. bye Olaf

  • Outlook via SMTP to Mercury

Running Outlook 2010 against Mercury 4.8 with TLS / SSL and authentication. With SMTP there is TLS on port 587, SSL3 on port 465 (port 25 should work too - doesn't matter). IMAP is no problem - works fine. SMTP does not (neither with TLS or SSL3). Error in Outlook on sending: ''Error Message: 0x800CCC80 - None of the authentication methods ...

  • Re: New mail does not appear in New Mail folder

I think your filtering rules are the problem. Just for testing put a rule at first position in the ruleset, which disables the processing of the rules: ''Always Exit''. If you get new mails and they show up now, you found it. I don't know, if it is possible, to move mails to the new mail folder (which as Joerg and Brian already explained ...

  • Re: Pegasus Hangs When Creating a New Folder

To possibilities for fixing the problem:temporarily connect a seconf monitor again and move Pegasus to screen 1.The coordinates for windows of Pegasus are in STATE.PMJ in section [General]. Most times you will have success by removing all entries with V4...=... on closed Pegasus. But afterwards you have to position and resize all windows of ...

  • Re: How is the multi-user environment useful?

Noticeboards are only accessible from the LAN. You may define where they reside via Windows environment variable ''NB'' or in PEGASUS.INI. An alternative are ''System Wide Folders'' - their location is defined via ''MAI''. If you use Davids Mailserver Mercury, it is possible to send Mails to noticeboards from internet with mail-aliases defined ...
