• Re: Strange glitch sending to multiple addresses

Ed, There were some suggestions that might have been useful for another person back a ways in this thread. Basically that the addresses in a list exceeded the number of characters allowed, either because there were too many addresses or too many recipients had fancied up their aliases lengthily. This didn't apply to any of the lists I had used, ...

  • Re: Removing attachments

<Check the Windows 7 account you are using has full control permissions over folder security. Seems like it, ''full control'' is checked all the way down except for ''special permissions.''

<What is the path to the installation folder? Is it C:\PMail? I ask because you should not have it installed under ..\Program Files\PMail as your account will not have all the permissions required to properly manage your mail messages. If it is under C:\PMail make sure your user account has permission to modify the contents of the ...

    >Can you do a test and send yourself a couple of messages with 250k or higher images one embedded and one attached, please? Been there, done that. Over and over again. m

  • Re: Removing attachments

<A message must be in new mail folder in order to delete attachments... Oh, did I forget to tell you that I tested your reply on two different messages, both in the New Mail folder? The 9.5 mb file I moved back into New Mail with embedded .jpgs also sent as attachment, the other, a 4 mb file in which the attachment was a .png file, I ...

  • Re: Removing attachments

<Embedded images are attached images which can be deleted in the attachments pane like any other attachment. Deletion replaces the attachment entry with a ''Deleted section'' entry... Well, actually, that procedure often doesn't work even on attachments that aren't embedded with the message text, and it NEVER works with ...

  • Re: Removing attachments

Well, actually not. As you can see, the attachments are removed neither from the message nor from the message (though it appears so, until you return to the reading pane and wonder why the message is still 9 mb and look at the attachments pane again.

  • Removing attachments

So many messages come to me with embedded images these days (September 2017 and a few years previous), and as I save a great many emails this makes for gimongous folders and a bloated PMAIL/MAIL file. There seems to be no way to remove attachments where they reference an embedded photo/image or to remove the embedded images (which would ...

  • Insert Hyperlink idea

(blush) This is so trivial I'm embarrassed to even write about it. If, when writing a message, one wants to include a hyperlink, the ''URL to invoke'' line is already set up with ''http://'' and as one click on a URL in all the browsers on all my devices now includes those characters, I get rather tired of always having to select and ...

  • Removing headers with Mailstrip

Lexacorp's Mailstrip is very hard to find with a Google search and it is miniscule (would you believe 20 KILObytes?), fast, and efficient at removing headers from a saved set of messages (or a single message). The most recent discussion and link I found was from 2015 so I thought it would be worth it to give the information again. First, here's ...
