• Re: Pegasus loses settings after laptop "Sleeps"

I forgot to mention this is occurring with V4.62 running on a Win7 - 64 bit laptop where the mail folder resides on a Win2003 server share.

  • Pegasus loses settings after laptop "Sleeps"

I understand that Pegasus can lose its connections if a computer goes to sleep while Pegasus is still running. However, when it comes back from Sleeping, Pegasus errors out and the settings files (Pmail.ini) seems to get re-set and all your internet connections setups (and other settings) are lost . For the internet options, I know they are ...

  • Re: Crash in 4.62 when opening distribution lists

idw: I don't know how VS works with regard to this since I'm not using it (well, only the ''Express'' version in some very rare cases, I'm mainly using Delphi), but the information displayed can only come from a dump (file?) unless you're running Pegasus Mail from within your debugger to begin with. Or are you talking about WinDbg? If so, yes, ...

  • Re: Crash in 4.62 when opening distribution lists

idw:Do you have the dump file? If so please forward it to ''beta-reports [at] pmail.gen.nz'' so we can use it along with the symbol file. Unfortunately, I don't have a dump file as I loaded the exception directly into my debugger to generate the above info. Can you turn that it into a dump file from there (I've never done that before)? Next ...

  • Crash in 4.62 when opening distribution lists

Unfortunately, I did not have the Pegasus Crash handler installed.. The error message dialog was ''Unhandled Exception at 0x006cac22 in winpm-32.exe: 0XC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x00000000. Not sure if there is enough info here, but I opened the exception in my VS debugger, and the call stack looks as ...

  • IE Control installation question

I wasn't sure whether to post this here or in the extensions forum... In any case, my question is in regards to installing the IE Control replacement for the BearHtml renderer. Our Office setup has the Pegasus mail binaries installed in a common shared folder on the network, with individual users having their mail message (and .ini's etc) ...

  • Re: Upgrade to 4.52 and it crashes opening some common mail messages

Thanks for the info... It seems that the problem messages that caused me to create this initial post are no longer an issue !? So something changed on my machine... I will however, know to use the Crash Dump extension in future if there are issues.

  • Upgrade to 4.52 and it crashes opening some common mail messages

Hi All, Been running PM 4.41 on our (small) Windows network for a few years. For the most part it has been reliable for me. I recently upgraded to use Pegasus 4.52 (from version 4.41) as a few of our users are running Win7 64 bit. However, now I am experience Pegasus mail crashes on some common email messages ...

  • Re: Pegasus refuses to create copy to self

Just a thought... Someone at our office was having odd behaviors similar to this. In their case, they would send the file and the program seemingly ''hung''. After some diagnosis, I found that the prompt dialog box asking him where to save it was coming up off the visible window so it could not be seen. The program wasnt actually hung, ...

  • Re: Socket read timeout

I think you would have been better served to start a new thread as the original posters problem was solved just before your post. His problem was specifically gmail configuration related. You will need to provide the session log (at least) with more details. You might want to start by searching for ''Socket Read Timeout'' in this forum as there ...
