• Re: AW: GnuPG Support?

Hey Martin, thanks a lot! (I even went to his page before I posted, but did not see the link to the GnuPG flavor!)

  • GnuPG Support?

I used Pegasus from 1995-2007 with a PGP plugin (used Gerard's for years, then Michael's and liked them both -- thanks guys!). Then I switched to Thunderbird using the Enigma plugin with open-source GnuPG. I would like a copy of Pegasus on my system again but am not willing to go back to bloated, proprietary PGP after using the very small, very ...

  • Re: Column width in "New Mail"

Thanks beamon. I'll give that a try.

  • Re: Column width in "New Mail"

...which begs the question what you do if you like the window maximized! ;) I keep mine maxed and the changes don't stick. If I have to choose between resizing a column on occasion or the entire window... You'd think ''save desktop state between sessions'' would do the trick, but nope! Nevertheless a great program to be sure, and vastly ahead of ...

  • Re: How Do You Get RID of ALL QUEUED MAIL - Thanks all.

I meant to add that there may be controls in Pegasus that do not allow so many messages to be sent at once (because of spammers). So if you have been trying the ''send all queued mail'' and it hasn't worked, you might have to look into that. I've never tried sending a gazillion messages, so I don't know... but if you just send yourself one email ...

File > Send all queued Mail Because the first time you hit SEND it will only send it to the queue. This is an option in Pegasus. If you don't want it to queue first but just GO as soon as you hit send, check that option on the SMTP tab (Tools > Internet Options > SMTP tab) ... it's the first control option listed.

rlp314:Re: I Simply Need someone to GET mY PEGAsUS TO send a message to anyone for a test Send an email to yourself, then collect it, all within Pegasus. That's the fastest way to test an email client when setting it up. If your message sends alright, your SMTP server (SEND SERVER) is configured correctly. If you ...

  • Re: Content is not copied into forwarded messages

Sorry I couldn't be of help. Strict compliancy to standards isn't MS's strong point and Pegasus has its own 'personality' :) so you're probably right about it being a bug. Hope you find an answer or notice a commonality sooner or later. It's always nice to work out the little annoyances! :)

I hate to ask how you got so many messages in the send que! File > Review qued mail > highlight them all and choose Delete. (To highlight them all, highlight the first one, then scroll to the bottom of the list, HOLD DOWN THE SHIFT BUTTON and click on the last one. All messages between will become highlighted.)

  • Re: Pegasus 4.41 hangs on closing

After more troubleshooting, it appears to be a bug in the newest version of the idwPGP-Frontend plugin, (v 6.1.0.0. from 11/2007). Michael is a great guy and I'm sure it will get fixed eventually. From what I've gathered most people don't experience this problem. Just wanted to post this in case someone has a similar problem and comes ...
