I did do a search in this forum for this fault, but obviously put in different words, or whatever.
These acknowledgement emails are actually after submitting spam to a reporting system. I will get in contact with them, but not sure they will do anything about it, as their system is probably doing enough for them such that they may not want to fix ...

So there's a bug in Pegasus, as it's failing to clear the date field after listing another email?
If there isn't a valid date field, shouldn't the date of the email default to 01/01/1900, or something like that?
Thank you.
Cheers

I have an acknowledgement email being filtered into a folder and when I check that folder, the email's date is adopting the date of the last previous received email in that folder. If I filter the same email into another folder, it adopts a different date, due to the previous email in this other folder having a different date to the first ...

Yes. It is set to always.
And I guess I need to clarify, if it isn't clear already, I've seen it with for example, a ''SMTP Network or Protocal Error sending mail'' error which subsequently brings up a Pegasus popup window detailing the error ...

I'm running Pegasus Mai 4.63 in multi user mode on Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.
I've noticed a bug where if there is an error in an email upload/download internet session, that the Stop Session icon will stay bold/coloured even after the session has finished. The only way I've found to return the icon to its grey/idle state is to shut down Pegasus ...

dulcamara:although in the Task Manager there are no applications or processes I can easily identify as such.
You will be looking for ''winpm-32.exe'' in Processes if Pegasus Mail is running.

esysfound:Hi - not sure what you mean when you say
''tried this'', or
the ''pointing'' bit referring to the old Peg (before or after any reassigning of the home mail box location?
or the ''few'' (but unspecified) parameters that need updating etc.
the assumption that the user is comfy editting ini files....
These little semantics ...

hfineberg:
Thanks, Rocket.
I did as you said but an error appeared during the rebuilding (in the DOS window) and on restarting Pegasus the 'Copies to self' folder was missing.
There was a blank line in the folder listing under My Mailbox as if it knew there should be an entry there but that's all.
Any further comment?
I've just done this ...
