Program Error when opening new mail folder

I'm using Pegasus v. 4.52 and have a two-part problem I hope someone can help me with.

First, when I click on the "Work with your mail folders" tab, my New mail folder does not appear in the list. This has not been a major problem, because I could still access the New Mail folder by clicking on the separate icon.

Second, today however I ran into a real problem. Now when I click on the New Mail icon, I get a message that says "Program Error. winpm-32.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Wiindows. You will need to restart the program." The problem is that whenever I restart Pegasus and click on the New Mail folder the same message comes up. Furthermore, because the New Mail folder does not appear in my list of mail folders, I cannot try right-clicking to check consistency, reindex, or any of the other options.

Finally, I don't know the name of my New Mail folder, and am not sure if it will help to know the name.

Any help you can give me will be much appreciated.
