Separate New Mail dialog box on Startup

Recently upgraded to 4.61 hoping a minor irritation would be fixed. With three of four users (on the same machine), when PM is started, the folders dialog box with preview defaults to "New Mail" and displays it fine. All four users have tools|options|basic settings "Automatically open the new mail folder at startup" checked. However, with one of the users, the folder dialog box has the "My Mailbox" folder hilited, not "New Mail" and a separate dialog box with "New Mail" is displayed. To correct, I close the separate "New Mail" dialog box and select "New Mail" in the folder dialog box. All users are set to save the desktop session state. What is necessary to correct? Thanks!

Missing Message Folder

I move my old messages to a Folder. At the end it advised to

re-index. But after re-indexing, the folder is missing. I have

moved last 6 months mails to that folder.

Pls help me to recover missing folder.

Folders disappear upon opening Pegasus Mail

Three times in the past few months (and twice on the same account) my folders have vanished leaving, behind a long list of files in the 'Mail Folders' box. It is some error that occurs when the account is opening. The first time it happened I redid all the folders - made new ones. The second time was on another account and I began redoing them, only to have them disappear again. When this happens the words 'My Mailbox' next to the mailbox icon at the top of the list of Folders/Files disappears. I would be most grateful if someone could tell me how to recover the folders and/or prevent this from happening again. Thank you
