As of this version the menu entry apparently does not list open individual mails only folders

there is no "x"-button to close the queued mail folder (nor a "Window"->"Close" menu entry), but Ctrl-F4 works (same as in previous versions)

as far as I remember the previous version were satisfied to show new mail in "Folder - New mail" (when it was open?). This version insists to focus on "New mail folder"

in Folder-Preview mode one (at least I) cannot see which window is active: the selected folder and the selected mail are marked the same way. I would consider it helpful if the selection in the active window differed (same as in previous versions)

I don't know if the following is a good idea:

Allow in "Message properties" to change the date

Recently I had a mail with a date setting of 2005. I took a while to discover it in the New mail folder. To be able to find it in the Main folder I had to edit the new mail file manually.

Oskar

message windows not included in list of open windows on menu

Hi all,

just upgraded to 4.61 on XP pro sp3. I've noticed the list of open windows now seems to only include the new mail folder and the folders windows. No other window open (ie a new message, a reply, the draft manager, queued messages, etc) show up. This is rather inconvenient when working with replies and opening several windows that get hidden behind others.

Is there something I need to set in order for these windows to be listed?

Thanks!

PMail Compatability with OSs

I have two questions:

1. Can PMail be run from within a virtual machine for running PC applications within a MAC?

2. Does PMail 32 or other versions run within a Windows 7 64 bit OS?

I can rename folders, I CAN'T move folders, and I can't MAKE folders. I have NOT tried to delete them since I couldn't replace the ones I have. I have tried to make and use public directories, nothing happens there. I moved a million sub-directories from my mail store just to clean things up (seem to be related to RSS I guess) Each time I try again. What is happening is that I click "Add" and no window but I can't click
anywhere else. I can press ESC and the program returns to normal. Rename works, moving doesn't, public folders do not seem to work (afraid to move a fold to there - and of course can't make one there)

HELP HELP HELP I'm a long time Pegasus user and used to be contributor in the beta forums (before my health got bad ) but please, I can't have my beloved PMAIL like this.
