  • flashing/disappearing html mail

I'm on a mailing list from a local pharmacy, which sends out html-formatted email (beginning of one listed below). I very much appreciate that Pegasus does not automatically download images, which reduces the amount of spying that can happen via email. But these messages behave oddly: they flash very briefly in their graphical form, then ...

  • Fails to open link

For past few months pmail (4.71.565) has failed to display newsletters from international and national sporting bodies (to name but a few) . In the past right clicking and choosing show pictures (HTML only) has worked but this option is no longer available.  I sometimes see a link to open in web browser but this always fails and nothing ...

  • Graphics and HTML

I am an unsophisticated old man, with only a hazy idea of email protocols.  So be patient with me...  I have used Pegasus for decades, as a POP-3 client.  When my university abandoned their own mail system and subscribed to M-S 360, they discontinued POP-3 support entirely. (They have only IMAP.)  I do not want my mail stored ...

  • Links in signature

Hi I want to put html links to a mailto: address and a webpage in my email signature (I realise an email address in an email is a bit redundant, but that's not important here). When I send an email with the links to myself, the lines with links have more vertical spacing than the lines without (see attached).  This makes the whole signature ...

  • Mail Filtering search within HTML

Hi, I regularly receive quite a bit of SPAM mail, one type in particular is defying my attempts to quietly file it away unseen. The header contents are always different, so is the ''sucker link'' address they want you to click, so I can't make a rule based on them. There is one constant however, the phrase ''Can't see the images? - Click here'' ...

  • Re: Why does Pmail accept some phishing URLs

subelman:I got an obvious phishing Email. The HTML text contained a hyperlink where the '<a' tag's src pointed to one web site, while the readable text read 'http://twitter.com/account/.....'I expected Pegasus (with BearHTML) to block this, but it the cursor remains a 'hand' instead of the expected 'stop' sign. Not that it fools anyone, but ...

  • LibTidy update

This ZIP file contains a patched version of Pegasus Mail's LibTidy library which is used for preprocessing all HTML messages before they are rendered by either Pegasus Mail's built-in renderer (TER/HTS, for replies and forwards or on the attachments pane), BearHtml or IERenderer. It provides fixes for some malformatted HTML streams which cause the ...

  • Forwarding HTML messages

I am using V4.61 but this is a problem that has been niggling me for ages... If I forward an HTML message which I chose to edit, it loses all HTML and the recipient just sees a plain text message with the associated pictures as attachments. If I forward without editting this does not happen, but of course most of the time I want to edit the ...

  • Error message on HTML data

Thank you for the 4.61 version of Pegasus Mail. I have used it for a number of days successfully. Today, when replying to a message, an error message popped up: ''Ran out of Group Table for HTML data (Get HTMLWord)''.  The message cannot be closed and when forced, PM crashed. Why did this message pop up and what can I do? Your help will be ...

  • Selective New HTML mails not opening with double-click.

Hi, I have installed Pegasus Mail 4.52 on WinXP Pro SP2 machine + AVG Free Anti-virus 2011 + Comodo Firewall 2011. I can open all plain text mails with a double-click, but same is not applicable for some of the HTML mails. This does not apply to all HTML mails as I can open a few with the double-click.   This was working fine one week ...
