  • SMTP Connection Error to external Address

Hey Folks,   I'm very sorry rolling up again a connection post, but I ran into some trouble setting up mercury/32 properly for sending mails to external. I am using the dyndns.com-service for providing a static hostname to my dynamic ip. This has been configured in the M32-setup as shown ...

  • Using Pegasus Mail from a removable drive, need relational drive references

My laptop melted down, so I was forced to move my pmail directory system onto a portable drive.  Since Pegasus Mail is one of a few that do not need ''installed'' into the Windows registry to work (thank you David) I was able to access my mail from the portable drive by running pconfig and setting the mailbox path to ..\MAIL\~8 that works ...

  • Re: SMTP or MHS Address

I imagine by now you have solved this either by brains or brute force. I also had this along with other installation problems. To solve it I had to get a PMGATE.SYS into the Pmail/Programs folder. I generated this on the server with Mercury using UNC format for the path. Then I copied it across to the folder on the remote machine. Bingo! The ...

  • Temporary error 249

When I try to send an email from osC (which is basically PHP) I get no error from osC but the email goes nowhere and I get this error in my log (verizon.net is the domain of the ...

  • unable to save configuration

I'm new to Mercury Mail as it came bundled with XAMPP and I would like to use it to send emails from my localhost. I'm using Mercury Mail/32 version 4.52. I'm trying to get it set up and I am noticing that I am unable to save my configuration settings.  Specifically, I would like to change  Mercury->configuration->Protocol ...

  • installation instructions for mercury/32 4.51 on existing 4.01b install?

Hello, First, a hearty thanks to all who have contributed to the development, testing and support of this software. I've been using it for years with great success. I looked around the faq, and searched the forums, but did not see any write-up about installing over the top of an existing version of mercury/32. I know that this has to be ...

  • 2 users - 2 PC's

I have been running Pegasus on my desktop PC (say ''PC1'') for years, with 2 users in multi-user mode (currently v4.31). I now have another desktop computer (''PC2'').  Both machines are running Windows-XP, and are connected by an in-house peer-to-peer Windows LAN. What is the best way to install Pegasus so that either user can ...
