I I have been a Pegasus Mail user bor more years than I can remember and have encountered a problem I cannot solve, I am using 4.6.3 All sent messages are going to ''Junk of Suspicious Mail  foler - i.e. Spam. While I can stop similar behaviour for inwards mail (using spamhalter and while list settings) I cannot fix this problem. When ...

  • SpamHalter failing to catch junk mail

Hello folks,I've been using Pmail with SpamHalter for a long time and it has proved very effective. Strangely, it has been failing randomly and without a known cause lately, most likely related to its SQLite3 database as pointed out in Pegasus' System Messages pane here.Unfortunately I couldn't get the whole error message as System ...

  • ClamAv / ClamWin / Confirmation of successful virus checking

The ClamAV world seems in flux. ClamAV now seems to be Immunet. In an effort to get ClamWall running, I ended up downloading ClamWin and pointed ClamWall to the bin directory. The Question then became ''Is it working''. I have not figured out how to tell. One of the things I love about Mercury is what I call ''Visibility''. It is reasonably ...

  • Position of Junk or suspicious mail folder

Hello, I am running Pmail 4.52 and my folder tree in the Preview mode has expanded to the degree that the Junk mail folder has disappeared off the bottom of the window. Now, when i want to drag a message to this folder I first have to scroll down the tree and then drag the''offending'' message to the Junk mail folder. This is a nuisance and I ...

  • Spamhalter Zero Byte File Crash Fix

This version of the bayesian spam filter module (by Lukas Gebauer) fixes the zero byte file crash as described in the common support forum and the German forum. Please note that it does not remove such files, it simply doesn't crash Pegasus Mail anymore.

  • Re: Spamhalter and IMAP - does this work?

Paavo:I have to watch for incoming spam some more -  does it indeed have the stored probablity initially as 100%. I suspect that the content of the message is not inspected when the imap inbox maillist (I do not use preview mode) is displayed. Therefore the spamhalter might not be avare of the spam at that moment. Well seems that the new ...

  • Re: Spamhalter and IMAP - does this work?

bart:Does Spamhalter tag the messages correctly? If so, it is up to rules of the mail client to move them to a different folder or delete them. The specific messages have ''stored'' spam probability and ''current'' spam probablity both 100%. But this might be also the result of reclassification I have applied. I have to watch for incoming spam ...

  • Spamhalter and IMAP - does this work?

Hello! After migration from POP3 to IMAP I now finally realized that spamhalter does not automatically move away the messages classified as spam from the inbox folder of IMAP mailbox. There are some other things that cannot be set up for IMAP mailbox in similar way as it used to be for POP3 account (newmail rules for example) so I started to ...

  • Re: SpamHalter setup problem

It's a long time since I installed Spamhalter, but I can confirm that on my system, I get headers (mine start X-SPAMHALTER) whether the message is spam or not. Even emails to myself (sent through my ISP's SMTP) have Spamhalter headers. I don't have any logs that look like that, but I guess it's Spamhalter with debug logging. Are your Mercury and ...
