Hi, wbrook,
I'm having what seems to be an identical problem. I'm running the latest Pegasus (having been an enthusiastic user and advocate for about 10 years!). I copied my Admin folder from a desktop running XP and Pegasus 4.63, and substituted it for the same folder on a new Toshiba laptop running Windows 7 Home and the ...

I now this thread is really old - but anybody searching for Win7 installation assistance will come across it with tag search. I experienced a slightly different scenario, but was able to use Holger's fix.
Holger:
delete C:\Program Files (x86)\Pegasus\Programs\PMAIL.CFG
I just upgraded from XP to Win7 and installed my Pegasus into a ...

I read the FAQ that stated that Mercury has no config options elsewhere so this ought to work. (the old system ...

Hi there,
I have also installed Pegasus 4.61 on our networked system. We were using 4.52 successfully in a mixed environment of Windows XP, Windows 7 64 bit and Windows 7 32 bit.
We are sticking to the Windows 7 model, because it works and is a lot more stable (and less resource hungry) than Vista.
Our File Server is a QNAP (Linux based) and ...

Hi everybody!
I wanted to install Pegasus Mail on a USB stick that I want to use with a Windows 7, 64 bit system. Is that possible? I looked around and I've come to the conclusion it is not really possible unless I install additional software. Am I right? The thing is, it's a work laptop (I'm abroad for two months for training, so I want to use ...

Hi all. We have a Mercury v4.72 instance that was running pretty well on Windows 7 Professional up until recently when it started crashing several times a day, some times right after starting up, other times lasting for several hours before crashing. We've tried all the usual stuff -- clearing the temp folders and caches, setting compatibility ...

Had to use dosbox to get rescom to work, but that's no problem now (so far as I know). My variable sigs are still not showing up in the outgoing messages. Yes, the converted file resides in the proper location and the signature has ~! where the variation needs to be -- email recipients see ~! instead of a selection from the sig list.Any ...
