  • How to use a multi-user environment.

Brian, thanks for your very well written answer. I haven't used any yet, but it seems like your point number one would be better met by using the Identities feature of Pegasus. I really like your point number 2. I'm curious how Pegasus knows about each users email address. This is just by defining the username and personal name (addresses > ...

  • Importing contacts from Gmail

I have a .cvs file that I exported from my gmail account. I went to addresses and then found ''Addressbook''. I opened it and selected ''Import tab-delimited file'' and then found the .cvs file and entered it and clicked ''open''. Absolutely nothing happened, no import and no error message.

  • Google Contacts

Great news from David about the new version he has been working on. With specific reference to the Address Book, will it be possible to connect to Google Contacts? Although I do not particularly like the fact that Google seem to invade almost every aspect of our technology based lives, there are so many devices that will interface to Google ...

  • Professional addressbook

I would love to see the addressbook enhanced to hold many more data for each entry.  Specifically the ability to specify personal and business data, name and sirname split in to seperate fields, all the different telephone numbers people have these days, and a separate postal code and city for the addresses. Mabe even entries can be grouped ...

  • Addressbook key disappears

The key associated with certain addresses (about 5) in my main and only addressbook does not show. If I edit the entry, the key is entered in the field.  If I save the entry as is, the key appears inthe addressbook, but the next time I enter Pegasus, it has disappeared again.  If I sort the addressbook by key, the entries not ...

  • Address picker disappears when PMail loses focus

This is a bug I've seen in PMail for a while both under WinXP and Win7. Steps to reproduce: 1) Begin to compose a new message and use the 'TO messaging options' button next to the 'To' field to bring up the address book2) Select a few addresses from the list3) Focus another (non-PMail) window, e.g. your web browser or IM client4) Go back to ...

  • Contact and Address Lists

Has anybody devized a way to export/extract/archive Contact and Address lists easily?   If I loose my Pmail system (which happens thanks to Uncle Bill and his minions), I loose all of my contact details.  I can save the relevant *PMR and *PM! files, but I can't read them easily outside of PMAIL    Davisd  A ...

  • can only get names, not email addresses, from my address book

I must be overlooking something simple.I've just started using Pegasus, and set up my address book.  When I look at the individual entries they look fine; there's a name in the ''Name [alias]''  space and an email address in the ''E-mail address'' space. But when I try to use the address book to address emails, it only adds the _name_ of ...

  • Transfer of Pegasus to another harddrive

Hi to everybody! I could save my Pegasus from a crashed Laptop to another harddrive. When I now try to open Pegasus, it requires a username - but I never used a username, because I'm the only user. So I cannot open Pegasus at all. It ran on Windows XP home edition and it was the version ca. 4 years ago.  Hope, somebody can help, the worst ...

  • Command line address book import

It would be great to have a way to import an address book from a tagged-text and/or CSV file via the command line, rather than having to start up Pegasus GUI and go through all the selections. Either a separate little executable or some switches on the Pegasus command line to specify the names of the input text file and output address book. I ...
