  • Has development on Pegasus stopped?

Subject says it all. There seems to be a lot of unanswered question in these forums and the program-changes pages are showing dates back in 2011 etc. I hope work still goes on as I am liking what I see here except for a few wrinkles that should not be hard to sort out if development continues. Thanks

  • Programmatic creation of local user account

Hi everyone, I just recently setup for the first time setup Mercury 32's IMAP server. So far so good as I have ''some'' experience with mail servers and it seems to be working fine. I do a lot of software development and after googling for a couple hours could find no insight as to how one would go about pro-grammatically creating user accounts in ...

  • Looking for someone to develop a working daemon to remove "known" invalid email addresses from outgoing email

I am a visual basic programmer, and have never been able to get into the mind-set to do C++ coding...  Our users use Mercury/32 for outgoing email only.  There are several domains involved..  Any way, I'm looking for a Mercury/32 daemon to do the following: 1) Process each message received by Mercury (outgoing email only) 2) ...

  • Managed wrapper to extension interface

Hi,  I am a C# developer by trade and a longtime user of winpmail, and was wondering about the possibility of writing a managed (.NET) wrapper to the extensions interface.  I would like to get opinions and advice from forum members - has anyone tried this before? Are there any reasons why this would not be possible?  The first ...

  • Testing the S/MIME Extension

I've now finished the basic coding so the compiler doesn't generate any errors anymore, so I'm going to enter the first test cycle. There are still several things to be done, though:user interface refinements including new icons and bitmaps;rewriting the various help docs (a huge amount of work);creating resp. customizing a convenient ...

  • Next Step: Customizing the Extension Interface

After finishing the basic S/MIME implementation I've now started to create the interface and customize my PGP extension for dealing with the new S/MIME module. Although I've kept modules pretty separated in the PGP extension this will nevertheless take some time before I can provide a first beta version.

  • Progress Update: Switching to CAPICOM

A first note on development progress: I've already written most of the code for S/MIME processing using the ''plain'' crypto API functions but am rather dissatisfied with its versioning hassles (check the respective functions for the varying details) and what I think is a rather bad bug in an important verification function resp. the data ...

  • S/MIME Extension Development

FYI: I'm currently writing a Pegasus Mail extension using Windows' built-in Crypto API. While the basic functionality is available on all Windows versions if at least IE 3.02 is installed (NT based systems since fully patched NT 4 provide it by default), a graphical user interface is only fully developed since XP. As I cannot provide reliable ...

  • Doing IT!

All, Have been asking for what I think is a basic fundamental operation in mail for the longest time: Ability to automatically scrub, verify and categorize email addresses from received emails and Dist lists. So when I did not get this, now over ten years after first request, I quit whining about it and decided to write it. I put it into ...
