  • Ongoing Mercury mail server problem

Mercury server stopped working about 3 days ago and I've exhausted my meager knowledge of things to try to get it back working again. I can look at mail sent before that time, but all new mail never gets delivered. Below is what I see in the log files. If there is anything else I can post to help resolve this, let me know. I am going to the site ...

  • Mercury Service Queue Hang on W2008

We recently upgraded to Mercury 4.72 and Windows 2008 R2 on 32 bit architecture. Occasionally , under high volumes our Mercury mail Queue is failing to process correctly. The Mercury service seems to be CPU bound, consuming 12%CPU on a Quad CPU for hours. No email is delivered. A restart of  the service un-hangs it and the queue is quickly ...

In the setup for MercuryD if I ...

  • Mail Delivery problem w/ specific destination

Hello, We've suddenly started having a problem delivering mail to certain destinations (all apparently hosted by Fairpoint Communications). A sample of the message from Merc. is below. This Mercury server has been up for years without any such problems. The IP is a valid IP and hasn't changed. We ''nat'' the public IP to a private IP ...

  • MercuryD and non-local messages

I need to find a way to have mercury respond to an email sent to an invalid user. We have an ISP setup for our Email using a catch-all Domain Mailbox.  All mail sent ot our domain is held there.  We then use MercuryD to retrieve those emails and distribute to the local users.  Occasionally an email will have an invalid ...

This night I upgraded my Mercury MTS from 4.52 to 4.62 (all running on my freshly patched Windows Server 2003). The upgrade process went well and no errors seemed to occur, but after the upgrade my server started to respond sluggish and when sending e-mails from different local users none of the emails seemed to go through the Mercury ...
