Hi
I have a global rule configured as below:
If header ''F'' contains ''Sam@domain.com'' Copy ''Bob''If header ''F'' contains ''Sam@domain.com'' Copy ''Fred''
This works well and Bob & Fred receive copies of emails sent from Sam.
BUT... If Sam adds multiple recipients to his email then Bob & Fred receive multiple copies of the ...

Long time reader, first time poster :)
Reading the manual, I've managed to set up a general rule set and alias that prints any emails addressed to orders@... At this stage it doesn't print an attachment if there is one. I get the impression this is possible, but I'm not sure which action I should select, and what to do with that ...

I am trying to test ''Received:'' headers as a basis for filtering in Content Control. So far, this doesn't seem to be working properly.
There are some countries from which I don't want to receive mail. So one example of a line in my content control file is:
if HEADER ''Received'' CONTAINS ''*.ru ([*'' weight 51
The trigger ...

Currently, it seems the filtering rules work with POP3 mail only. Since Pegasus is IMAP client also it would be great if the ruleset would work for IMAP accounts / folders. ie: I have two accounts one POP3 and the other IMAP. Some IMAP emails will be moved to my local filestore once they have be read or to another IMAP folder (other than InBox). ...

I have a rule somewhere in mercury32 that takes mail coming from a specific address or specific domain and delivers it to multiple users on our system. I need to add another user to this rule but cannot find the rule location!
does not seem to be a general or global filtering rule.
I ...

When I look at the message headers the from address is:From: Viagra.com Inc <xxxx@domain.com>
I have tried to created a transaction filter that works on the from address:M, ''*viagra*'', RS, '''Viagra' - connection dropped.''
But this doesn't ...

Short of blocking hotmail.com completely, what can be done to deal with Hotmail spam? Here are a couple of ideas I've used with great success.
1. Delete all messages sent from or relayed through Hotmail using a blind CC.
Go into Configuration -> Filtering Rules -> Edit global rules
Create an Expression and enter ...

X-UC-Weight: [# ] 51
X-CC-Diagnostic: Body matches ''*display:none*'' (51)
X-Blocked: SpamBuster
The above headers in certain messages appear to be generated by spambust.dat under Content Control but I don't see anything referring to display:none in the file. Is this something hard coded in Mercury/32?

This may be asking for the sky but here goes. We use Popfile to tag potential spam and this works very well with few false positives or negatives. Some of our users do though have a very high exposure to spam, possibly due to their past sins... We do not generally leave workstations on 24/7 so when starting ...
