  • Forwarding HTML messages

I am using V4.61 but this is a problem that has been niggling me for ages... If I forward an HTML message which I chose to edit, it loses all HTML and the recipient just sees a plain text message with the associated pictures as attachments. If I forward without editting this does not happen, but of course most of the time I want to edit the ...

  • Re: Always send a BCC or CC to certain email

Pegasus Mail has a robust Filter system which will do that, and much more. The 'help' file will be your guide, or you can just give it a go - it's pretty self-explanatory: Tools | Mail filtering rules | Edit new mail filtering rules | Rules applied when folder is opened I would recommend ''Always triggers'' Alternatively, you can add such a ...

  • Auto-reply to email received via forwarding?

Hello Currently using Pegasus 4.51 in network mode (I believe it's called...  Multiple users using one install on a network drive), and Mercury/32 4.62. I haven't played with it much, but I was experimenting with enabling 'Automatic replys...' (under the 'tool' menu in Pegasus).  The main goal is to reply to the sender of a received email to let ...

  • Forwarding to a mail list trouble.

Hi All.. Peg V4.41, on Win2k. Long time pmail user, since the mid 90's.  However I've only ever used it for the usual mail stuff, from the Win3x days to now. I'm guessing this might have been asked before, but I find the sites search clunky in the extreme, and unable to search relaibly on phrases, so here I am. I'm having problems ...

  • PMail 4.41 does not see attachment in a forwarded email message

Our secretary forwards (with Novell Groupwise) emails with attachments to me - and then Pmail cannot see the attachment (remains base-64 encoded within the text of the email).   Other email clients correctly see the attachments. What do I need to send/try in order for you wise friends to be able to judge what is strange in the email ...

  • How do I find out who I forwarded/redirected/bounced a message to?

I have a message in a folder, it has a red arrow indicating it has been forwarded.  How do I find where it went?  I know if I edited the message while forwarding it would be in my ''Copies to Self'', but what about if I take option two in the forwarding dialog and ''Forward the messages without editing (redirect, or ''bounce'')? If you ...

  • C an I sort by "forwarded" status?

You know how when you ''forward'' a message, you get a red arrow in the first column of the new mail folder.  Can you sort or make a filter for that? For example,  I do a search in my new mail folder for emails that contain a certain ''phrase'' in the body of the email.  Then I highlight the emails in the search window and ...

  • Re: Pmail v4.41 Confusion - Forwarding and Copy-Self

Stephen, Just some short notes. cadcambrafe:(1) When i forward a message from pmail, a file with the extension ''.pm$'' is attached. This causes great confusion to people who receive the email because they try to open it and can't. • Mail forwarding bug

HelloToday I discovered a bug which might be considered to be removed in future versions. When forwarding a plain-text e-mail (non-HTML) that does not have any attachments at all, if the option ''forward any attachments the message has as well'' is checked, the new message that is being sent actually does contain an attachment. It turns out that ...
