  • Moving all files onto new laptop with new install

Hello, My old PC died, but I have a backup of the PMAIL folder. It is a very old backup 2007 but I need to get at some emails which are only in it. I have installed a newer version of Pegasus onto my new laptop running Windows 8, which I had already copied the old PMAIL onto, but it has not recognised any of the previous data. Does anyone know ...

  • How can I restore Pegasus Mail from a no longer booting hard drive?

A malware attack left me with a hard drive partition where booting will never again be an option.  I can't directly access the partition but I can still copy files off of it.  The partition had Windows XP Home and I now have Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.  I don't know what version of Pegasus Mail was on the XP partition.  How can ...

  • Re: Export messages to Mac?

Ellie Kennard:I have a friend who has been using Pegasus Mail for a number of years and is now going over to Mac. She would like to know how she can get her existing email in some form on the Mac. Apple Mail on Tiger (OS X 10.4), the current version of OS X, stores mail in individual files; Apple Mail on earlier versions stores mail in a version ...

  • Re: My Wishlist

YES!! I would really like to integrate my Palm address book with the one-to-come in Pegasus Mail v5. I'm not an Outlook fan, however, but PIM capabilities for Pegasus Mail would be great. I'm using Kontact on openSUSE now, but Evolution could be another option. And, och, why not link to Outlook too?

  • Getting old backups together

How to put mails from 5 different computers together?  I used Pegasus since forever. And, whenever I moved, I simply made a backup of my emails and started afresh on a new machine. In years, I got backups from say, ''1998-01'', and ''2004 only'' and ''2001-2005, without 2004''.  I need single copies of all mail stored in all these ...
