I used the installer and it finished successfully. I do not have automatic image download enabled. That said, changing the WINSOCK setting seems to solve the problem. Thank you.  Why does this affect the performance?

I just upgraded to V4.61. I'm running Windows 7, 64 bit, on a fairly new I7 PC. PMail now seems to be using an inordinate amount of CPU (13%) even when idle. Can I simply reinstall V4.52 over the new version? Do you have any other suggestions?
