  • How can I restore Pegasus Mail from a no longer booting hard drive?

A malware attack left me with a hard drive partition where booting will never again be an option.  I can't directly access the partition but I can still copy files off of it.  The partition had Windows XP Home and I now have Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.  I don't know what version of Pegasus Mail was on the XP partition.  How can ...

  • Backup and restore files from 2 sources

I have a user who uses Pegasus Mail 4.4. The use copies the whole Winpmail directory to a server as a backup. The user deleted some folders in Pegasus but would like  to know if he can retrieve the Pegasus folders from the server where he copied the local winpmail directory. Please Advise. Thanks, Denny

  • Re: Restore missing data from previous copy

Hi If you deleted all the files from the c:\pmail and c:\pmail\programs etc folders without first backing them up, then you will have lost your mail. However, if you did a 'normal' delete you may be able to retrieve them from the Recycle Bin. You will need to restore your pmi, pmm, cnm, pml and pmr files. Good luck.
