  • Limit One Instance Running

Mercury seriously needs a feature that will allow limiting it to only 1 instance running at a time. It may need some adjustable options, though, to suit different users' preferences.  For example, I would prefer than in addition to it trying to determine if other instances are currently executing, it would also create a ''flag'' file ...

  • Printing a notepad: no wrapping

Text entered in notepads doesn't wrap. When you try to print a notepad, if you have a line that is too long, it is not reformatted and you are not warned. Minor thing but surely it could use the current margins/character width set in the message reader or message formatting options pages? I pasted a section from a long e-mail into a notepad in ...

  • Simple addition to the HTML editor

Hi. I'd like to suggest the addition of a button to put an horizontal line into a RTF email. Should be quite simple to implement, I guess.   Thanks in advance. Best regards, François

  • "special" folders need special treatment when being deleted.

Because the implementation of Spamhalter requires that the Spam folder's *filename* does not change, ''emptying'' that spam folder by simply deleting it is no longer possible. The only way that I know of to preserve the association between filename and foldername is to empty the folder manually (i.e. message for message) which is a tiresome ...

  • Re: "Are you sure?" last hope

I concur! There's nothing more gone faster than a distribution list you've accidentally deleted. cheers Mike

  • Re: feature request about identities for outgoing emails

I want to support the request to be able to associate a preferred identity to an addressbook.  Attaching an identity to a folder works for some cases, but not for others such as list-servers.  For them, 'reply' is often not an option, particularly if you are receiving messages in 'digest' form, and they will just bounce ...

  • Re: Feature request address book

I am indeed! And I have been using Pegasus for a very long time (since Version 2.xx) and even used that feature. I just recently saw the above described feature in Outlook:the drop-down-list of all the available addresses that start with ''he'' fro example is just very useful if you have large addressbooks (like myself) and aditionally several ...

  • . . . floating "TellTale" Window . . .with suggestion.NEW!

Mr. Harris I presume, Could there be some sort of indicator placed within this little floating Window to show which e-mail account it is for when using single installation with multiple accounts and checking all accounts for e-mail automagicly? Suggestion: Maybe use the first letter or one that is not used in any of the other UserNames so we ...

  • option to add mail recipients to an address book

I would find it very useful to have an option to have Pmail automatically add each recipient of an outgoing message to an address book, if the address is not already in that address book.  (Presumably, this would open a dialogue when the message was sent, if any recipient address is not found in the designated address book, to enter any other ...

  • Re: Change Date of an email

Hello!   What you can do right now is to sort the unread messages before the read ones, simply called ''Sort unread before read'' in Pegasus Mail. Doing so, your father's messages will not be sorted at the end of the message list, so you can find his messages easier (as long as they remain unread). This is what the help file says ...
