  • Problem with two monitors

I am using two monitors for my desktop in WINDOWS 7 prof. Pegasus Mail is normally open on the left side second monitor which is not the main screen. Some dialog windows pop up on the wrong monitor, namely on the right one which is the main monitor. What I found out is that all child windows which size can be changed are opening correctly on top ...

  • Portable Pegasus.

Hi. After some local personal computer hassle (exploding PSU's!)  I moved my install of Pegasus to another PC, lock stock and all.   A simple bulk copy of the entire folder structure etc, via usb stick was done. Much to my delight (but not surprise, Peg is always good to me in this respect) it all burst into life, and I could get on ...

  • 4.61 (minor) problems

A few problems with Pegasus 4.61 (because they are minor problems I put them in one posting):the menu entry ''Window'' and the WindowBar present different lists. As of this version the menu entry apparently does not list open individual mails only foldersthere is no ''x''-button to close the queued mail folder (nor a ''Window''->''Close'' menu ...

  • message windows not included in list of open windows on menu

Hi all, just upgraded to 4.61 on XP pro sp3.  I've noticed the list of open windows now seems to only include the new mail folder and the folders windows. No other window open (ie a new message, a reply, the draft manager, queued messages, etc) show up. This is rather inconvenient when working with replies and opening several windows that ...

  • PMail Compatability with OSs

I have two questions: 1. Can PMail be run from within a virtual machine for running PC applications within a MAC? 2. Does PMail 32 or other versions run within a Windows 7 64 bit OS? If anyone has had experience with either of these questions, I would be appreciate any your insight. Best Regards, Thomas

  • Re: Pegasus refuses to create copy to self

I did once again send a passel of test messages, with the same results.  No copies to self, no prompts to make the same.  I checked for hidden windows (the windows menu) and saw only the main folder, my folders window, and the message window I was currently sending. I looked in System Messages (accessed from the Windows menu) and saw ...

  • Re: Pegasus refuses to create copy to self

I apologize, I didn't see this immediately. Your post is ironic because suddenly I'm getting more erratic behavior in my Pegasus installation.  After close to two decades without any problems, suddenly message windows will only open either minimized or maximized, but not in between.  I'm stumped as to why.  I haven't changed ...

  • Win Vista 64 Home Premium & PMAIL 4.52 - cannot make new folders

OK, posted about this before and never got an answer, so now have set folder and file ownership to ''Everyone'' and installed Pegasus Mail 4.52 - still no joy. I can rename folders, I CAN'T move folders, and I can't MAKE folders. I have NOT tried to delete them since I couldn't replace the ones I have. I have tried to make and use public ...

  • I think I am having more permissions issues

Ok, I couldn't really figure out how to solve the permissions issues on my mail folder(refer to this thread) so I reinstalled and placed the mail folder in my shared documents folder. This worked and I was able to open it, unfortunately now I cannont save my settings.  Should I install the entire program in shared?
