I have a script that runs on the server every morning and emails me some cartoons (Dilbert, Doonesbury, etc.). It does not send the actual graphics (they are copyrighted) but just their URLs, in an HTML message. The email comes 'From' me, and it seemed like a good idea to have 'me' in the remote graphics exception list, so the images would open when I opened the email.

I suppose I could create an obscure alias to me, have the script send the email 'From' the alias, and add the alias to the exception list.

Thanks again, Martin.

That works partially. What happens is that each message is appended to the file but it takes the form that you see when looking at the message in Raw view except that you get the headers, raw html, attachment encoding, then the attachment itself (the text from the csv).

I shall begin to manually extract the attachments. I have 5 sets of >70 attachments to extract so if anyone finds a way to get the rules to extract the attachments only and append them to a single file or to extract them to single files and to retain the original attachment name, please post.

Thanks.
The program itself is in the C drive (C:\pmail) - Any other ideas?

Update on the old WIN-XP PC the user Pmail installation (witch is in C:\pmail) to Pmail V4.52. Then copy the complete pmail - folder with all subfolders and files to the new WIN-7 PC to C:\ and make a shortcut from C:\PMAIL\Programs winpm-32.exe to the desktop from the new PC.
I my provider recently changed servers and I had to change my settings. Have I blundered somewhere.

My email are being received ok.
Since the change has been at their end, talk with your provider about this (Heart?).  If it continues, they should be able to give you an authorised method of sending mail using SSL/TLS which should avoid this.

The display of CSS tags problem is now fixed in Bearhtml 4.6.9 revision.  The problem has been seen in two cases. First the Style tags were in the Body area of the html stream, and in the second case there were no Style definitions at all.

For those of you that downloaded already, please redo the downloads of Bear469.zip from this Community site.

This does work even with GroupWise 8.01. IMAP is required but has worked well for me. The Pegasus client is still hard to beat for its advanced functions (one I use frequently is bounce).

Mercury/32 is the in and out relay for my GroupWise system, BTW.

Is using IMAP instead of POP an option? With IMAP, you can have Pegasus open all three servers at he same time and see all three inboxes. You just create IMAP profiles for each server and configure them all to connect at startup.

Thanks for replying, Steffan.  Yes, I have checked my Draft manager and, yes, there are several messages there.  That is not uncommon for me to leave messages there that I'm working on.  What I'm looking for, however, is a switch to shut off the reminder message, just as there is a switch to turn off the word search for "attachment" if you forget to attach a document.

Thanks for your help...still looking!

This line is announcing the version of Html being used to compose the message. It is quite normal. If you are seeing it, you need to click the button called View and switch to fancy view of the message. If your webmail client is having problems that is another story, as any webmail client must be able to read html.

> Since I added a second POP3 adress (to also download mails from my other email account ) I have problems with Pegasus downloading the same emails
> endless times.

Go to Tools | Internet options | (Receiving)POP3, and select "Delete mail from host once it has been successfully retrieved"  If you check this box, Pegasus Mail will delete the host's copy of each mail message it successfully downloads, which will prevent it from being presented to you again the next time you retrieve mail. Leaving this box unchecked tells Pegasus Mail to leave the mail on the host even if successfully downloaded. Mail left on the server will be retrieved every time you download mail.

You can also edit the POP3 setup in the same location and select "Download only unread mail" The usual practice when retrieving mail from a POP3 host is to delete it from the host when it is successfully downloaded. If you do not delete it, you would normally expect to see it again the next time you download mail from the host. Pegasus Mail incorporates a powerful and complicated facility which allows you to leave mail on the POP3 host without deleting it, but only download mail you haven't already seen. Because the POP3 protocol does not actually provide this facility, there are some limitations on this command, the most specific being that if you run Pegasus Mail on more than one machine, each one willhave a separate list of what you have already seen; so, if you download mail using one machine then access your account later from a different machine, you will probably get the mail you downloaded the first time again, where downloading the mail on the same machine you originally used would only show mail which had arrived since the last time you accessed your account. Check this control to instruct Pegasus Mail to attempt to download only mail you have not read. The effect of this control is probably meaningless if you do not also uncheck the "Delete retrieved mail on host" control. Using this feature can significantly increase the  time it takes for Pegasus Mail to retrieve your new mail.

If this means that the CNM files are not in the users new mail directory on the Netware server this could be because

1.    The forwarding is done via a forwarding file and the deliver also is not set.

2.    There is a new mail filter in Pegasus Mail that is deleting the messages.
