Finding a folder inside of a tray

Thanks Brian.  I knew there had to be a way to search a system file for my "hidden" file location, but I was never diligent enough to scan the documentation to find the right file.

Thanks to you, I now have it.

I'll also give your coding scheme a try.

I frequently will search for a message, and when the results are displayed, it give me a folder name, but I can't find the folder because I don't remember what tray it is in.

Is there a way to search for a folder, that would tell me what tray it is in - or that it is not in a tray, since my eye-ball search of the file listings may be sub-par.

Many Thanks,

Dennis

I too wish there was an option to search folder names to identify its host tray.  The only way I have found to do that is to search the HIERARCH.PM  file.  Its entries look like

0,0,"U12CGKH7:6C1E:FOL03D5F","0851582:test tray","folder1 in test tray"

One trick I started doing awhile ago was to add append each folder name with a reference to its host tray.  For instance, folders in a tray named "Vendors" will have names like "Vendor1_Ven", "Vendor2_Ven", and folders in a tray named "Customers" will have names like "CustA_Cus", CustB_Cus".
