If you select multiple messages then hit F12 the properties window of the next selected message automatically opens when the existing one is closed but this is still a manual process.  I am not aware of a way to automate the removal of the "Is urgent" flag or to tell Pegasus Mail to disregard it when displaying in folder lists.

I,m long term user of Pegasus Mail (since 1994, when I used it under Novel network at my University), yet for some reason I haven't figured out how to make Pegasus Mail to sort "urgent" messages by date like all other messages by date/time. I like idea of them being differently colored in the list, however I would like them not to be sorted before all other messages. It was just a minor inconvenience until recently i have started to receive a mass of "urgent" messages sent to list of participants of project I'm working, For some odd reason most of them are marked as "important" even if they aren't important at all.  Of course I can create filtering rule to move those messages into appropriate folder automatically, and I did. However I'm still curious if there is way to make Pegasus Mail to sort "urgent" messages together with "not urgent" ones? I could not find appropriate setting to do it. Is it possible at all?

Messages flagged urgent are always sorted to the top.  The only workaround I can think of is to turn off the "urgent" flag and change the color.

Right click on the message, select "Message properties" (F12), turn off the "Is urgent" flag.

Right click on the message, select "Set colour" (F11).  You can automate this step with an "Attributes" filter.  The result will be that the message will display in the color specified in the filter once the urgent flag is removed.

Selecting "Message properties" to turn of "Is urgent" flag is not really convenient option when there is dozens of "urgent" messages since this action requires to change flag for each message separately, even if I select them all and then select "Message properties". Or am I doing something wrong? I have tried to figure out how to automate with "Attributes" filter but I haven't found option to "turn off urgent".  Set color is easy enough though.
