Hi, Brian,
Thank you so much for responding to my plea for help.
Here is some of the raw text from one of the emails with the Spam tag:
Message-ID: <1224547703.4603370.1457891437433.JavaMail.app@ltx1-app5754.prod.linkedin.com>
Subject: *** SPAM ***[New discussion] Once this happens, Saudi Arabia will return to a
medieval third world status. Either this or those billions horded by Saudi
princes will have to be used to placate or to subdue the people.

I do keep my emails on the Gmail server and then delete them manually. The **Spam** tag does not exist in the mail on the Gmail server, nor does it show in my Gmail app on my Android phone. It only shows up in my Pegasus Mail on my computer. And, strangely, this particular mail is from someone in my LinkedIn group and I have some other mail from him through the group which has this tag and some which does not, so it makes no sense to me. The problem doesn't stem from LinkedIn because I get this tag in other mail from other sources. I've only been able to trace it to Pegasus. I want no spam filters at all, but Gmail culls out what it considers spam anyway. That, however, doesn't seem to affect Pegasus. I thought I had Pegasus set for no spam filters at all.
I have tried to set my Gmail on their server and on my Android so that there are NO Spam Filters, but Gmail still catches some keywords and dumps them in a spam folder anyway. However, none of them have the **Spam** tag in the title, so that makes no sense either. And those which do have the **Spam** in the title have NOT gone into the spam folder. I'm really perplexed.
Years ago I had a similar experience and found a way in Pegasus to turn off this function, but I can't find it again. It's really annoying and sometimes I share these mailings with others and don't want them indicated as Spam.
I hope that this can be resolved again.
Again, thank you so much for trying to rescue me.
Judi :-)
