Font size in Message Preview
In the Message Preview window, the text in the body of an incoming email is often too small for me to read easily. Is there a way to enlarge it? I can do that by opting to view the message in my browser, but that is a bother. How can I get Pegasus itself to enlarge the type?

Look in Folders, Font... You will find three options for font style and size corresponding to the three different areas. Click the Set button for the preview area (third in list) and choose a new font size (and style if you wish).

Depends on the HTML renderer being used (since your apparently talking about formatted messages): IER provides a menu with dynamic options and a configuration dialog providing a permanent option, both accessible via its toolbar button (usually the rightmost one of Pegasus Mail's main screen). BearHtml provides the same keyboard shortcuts but no permanent option AFAIK.

Many thanks, Michael. I clicked on the IERender button and then chose Configure ... to make a setting that's working fine for me. Since this little problem has been bugging me for some time, I'm very glad for your suggestion.
