can't download email fom Gmail to P4.7
I'm setting up a newer computer with P4.7. (Dell OptiPlex780 / Win10) I've duplicated all the settings form my older computer (Dell Optiplex260 / WinXP)using p4.63 (which works fine). Trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Turn on internet session logging then check the log to see where the communication is failing.
Internet session logging can be turned on in the General tab of Tools > Internet options. Read the help file about logging paying special attention to the fact that credentials are logged so don't post an entire log (they follow the "Auth login" entry, encoded, but can be easily decoded).
Don't forget to turn off logging when done troubleshooting.
